Slim
Also the project they were promised has not materialised. Not saying it won't but they won't around to see it.
KaKa
Antonio Cassano isn't a fan. Thinks he should do athletics. Some big games coming up for Italy to seal a World Cup place. https://www.calciomercato.com/liste/cassano-tonali-e-barella-sono-scarsi-gogna-mediatica-su-bastoni-allora-la-generazione-della-juve-doveva-essere-squalificata-ogni-5-minuti/bltdcd624ec295c1fff#cs1f92cd9ebcba9f00
AyeDubbleYoo
I mean, based on this season he hasn't been great, especially with the ball. But you have to assume he's a better player than that. Whether he should go with Italy I have no idea.
Loki679
Probably didn't want to come but knew he was getting banned so had to help his team out. Did nothing for a year, one good season then a mediocre at best one and got his agent on the blower trying to get him out. Should build a statue for him. Club legend. KaKa
If he does move at least it will be for a decent chunk of money. Solid enough player, but wouldn't lose any sleep over him going at all really.
The Butcher
One of the best I've seen in B&W. His pace, work rate and stamina is good enough for any side. Not sure his passing is good enough for the best of the best. Hope he stays.

The misunderstanding, for me, stems from the fact that some AC Milan fans, at the time of his acquisition, described him as a hybrid between Pirlo and Gattuso... and that's completely wrong. Slim
I don't see how any Italian club could afford him.

The Prophet
Tonali is an excellent player when utilised correctly. He's an insane athlete with excellent intelligence out of possession. It's a pity we've only seem him at his very best for circa two thirds of a season and it does feel like he owes us a bit more after his ban, but hey it's football and as long as he isn't a dick about leaving, we move on. RobsonsWonderland
Do feel it all changed after his child was born. And I can understand if his wife is homesick for Italy. But if he ends up in the premier league, he will be another Isak to me. I still remember the joy of hearing Dyer had broke his leg at West Ham or Michael Owen ending up at Stoke... Maybe I'm just bitter lol

Ducked a derby to keep himself fit for Italy. I’m sure Michael Owen used to get pelters for this type of shite.

It is suspicious he wasn't fit enough for our beach (if I'm not mistaken) but is fit to start. On a related note, I've suspected for sometime we have a bit of a player power issue. duo
In a way I could understand if we had nothing to play for but it was arguably our biggest game of the season.
Drewboy74
I'm sure he was genuinely injured but it just seems very wrong this like. Not sitting well with me at all.

Shearergol
We’re obliged to release him for international duty. But yeah, the club are weak/shit etc…
Yorkie
He's played 52 games this season for club and country and went down with something in Barcelona. If he's asked the manager for a few additional days to recover ahead of what is clearly a crucial match for his country, personally I think he's just about earned that. He's clearly a very committed player. Also people always underrate the positive to us of maximising our players' international opportunities.

On one hand people craving for us to sign from the continent, on the other, wanting said players to not play important games for their countries. Wilson
I've convinced myself he's gone anyway. This doesn't sit right but it's not the only reason I feel like that. Hate to sound like a broken record but the isak shit has wider implications regarding how we look from the outside and from the inside (my opinion of course). I think we've had a good go at this season fighting on four fronts given the circumstances, but feel players like Sandro who will have plenty of options won't view it as any kind of progress. Nice and gloomy post, you're welcome.
