Saying he is back for the internationals but could miss the weekend. I don’t think a player should be allowed to go on an international during the season if they are ruled out the previous game.

Thought he was just knackered and knew the game had gone. But whole leaning on physio coming off did not look great.

His face when he was walking along our byline just as they scored from the corner that he got injured for.

Normally I'd agree but we should give/ask instruction for light participation in the games as they are a chance to continue the upward trend back to form

Aren’t they in the knockout qualifiers for the World Cup ? Can’t go light in that.

Not good reports from me here but for just seen Tonali gingerly walking into the Freeman hospital with a club staff member - assuming it’s for a scan.

I suppose it could be nothing or clear but  doesn’t seem a good sign.

Hopefully he's just nipped in for a paper from the overpriced shop.

Maybe just getting a sperm donation so Newcastle can secure the future of the club

Think about all the talents 😁

Another reason we can't hold onto our purples, Top teams all have their own CT machines, we send our stars to the Freeman et al - the absolute shame that poor lads had to go through, 1st spotted with Ginger hair then man handled by Dr feel good & his maulers.

Might have been something totally unrelated mind.

All I can say is I saw him going in with a club staff member and he didn’t seem to be walking freely.

Hopefully he was just visiting [emoji38]

If he does go in the Summer- how do you think he'll be remembered? We got one good session out of him from three. Personally I think he owns us one more session after we stuck with him after his ban.

He was incredible last season. Awful for most of this season. His last 2 months have been better. I do think he is a bit overrated on here.

When he was good he was exceptional, who knows why he had a drop off this season, maybe he isn't happy or something. I think if he was at one of the elite outfits in Europe he'd quickly become one of the best midfielders currently playing though.

Basically a player that could’ve been a club great but didn’t do enough / stay long enough. He’ll still probably be more remember here than at whatever tourist club he signs for.

I'll remember him as somebody who had a great desire to tie his laces at the corner flag at Wembley 😁

It would leave a bit of a sour taste if he left this summer . Let's be honest he only signed for us originally due to the pending gambling ban which cost us a season out of him. . He was then excellent last season but has had a huge drop off this season . Then you have his agent hawing him about at every opportunity. I don't mind him leaving really if we get good money as I don't think he's irreplaceable but he has treated the club like shit for the majority of his time here .

Feel a bit like I did with Isak this time last season, if he gave us one more season and didn’t act like a complete wanker when leaving, I’d probably wish him well and remember him fondly.

In the grand scheme of things, he will always move on and one more season won’t make much difference to him but will make the world of difference to us.

I think Tonali is more likely to stay on for another season if Howe does.

Will remember him fondly. Over rated at times but still a fine fine midfielder and only behind Bruno G for those he watched a lot.

For me - after Isak leaving it’s open season for the squad and won’t blame any of them for leaving.  He was the first domino - the poor transfers and season compound it.

I think we’ve been poorly run club for too long (at the top) to lament players wanting to leave for more money and success.

Owe us another year for my money. We stood by him whilst he kicked rocks would appreciate some reciprocation.
