NUFC Transfer Rumours

Not sure where £50m is coming from for Madueke but I think that's a reasonable fee. At that price you're probably spending more on his potential and what he can become as opposed to his current ability. Quite similar to the Gordon transfer in that respect.

Italian media suggesting Milan are close to signing Pavlović, one of them even saying it will be done in the next 48 hours. Would imagine that would accelerate the Thiaw deal (if we are in for him).

Anything north of 30m is too rich for Madueke Imo, has shown flashes but still very raw. Above that would sooner go for Bakayoko who going off their PSV days is a better prospect.

Mitchell’s model will be about the long-term. The remit will be to have us challenging for top four this season. As such, we have to go for players we’re sure will improve us immediately

I'm all in favour of Madueke - a talented player whose career hasn't quite taken off yet. We've made a success of that sort of signing (eg Isak, Gordon, Joelinton)

Same. Really think he is the type of player Howe could work wonders with. Tall, fast, strong, technically good. I know there was the pen incident last year, but I don't hate that, just shows how desperate he was to do well.

"Still no official offer from Newcastle for Malick Thiaw.

Milan have been aware of the interest [Eddie Howe, a great admirer of the German defender] for several weeks now.

The situation needs to be monitored."

Imagine Madueke being brought up to Wor Anthony’s level!

Gordon—-Isak—-Madueke

Big Joe—-Bruno—-Sandro

Hall—Kelly—Schär—Tino

                 Pope

That would be an underwhelming summer for me tbh if that was the starting 11

No doubt a few on the bench awaiting to be bedded in. RCB/Striker. Thiaw and an understudy striker who can play across the front.

Madueke looks exciting as a player. I just don't want him since he seems like a wanker.

Yeah just glad we didn’t turn our noses up at Anthony Gordon as he was despised on here. Look how that cunt turned out 😉 Ours now thank fook.

Imagine if we’d signed Sander Berge when we had the chance.

Gordon was a cranky little cheating diver, but I never seen him do what Madueke did during that penalty incident. Again, he could be fine, it's just another one where I'm not excited by it like I was Bruno, Botman, Isak, but maybe I would be a year down the line ala Gordon, Hall, Livramento

That penalty moment was pathetic but I’ve decided to attribute it to the fact that Chelsea is a vile club and that feeds into their players
