Bin Salman there, directly laying down bids in Barca’s boardroom. What a crock of shit article.

"I don't give a fuck if America are sending warships and Iran is about to attack Israel, we've got to sort this deal for a right winger.  The geopolitics stuff can wait, this is important."

Another French centre back rumour circulating. Tobido, 24 year old much more first team ready option.

Apparently Mark Douglas has said we’ll only sign a RW if Miggy leaves.

surely not true.

Makes sense though, unfortunately. With our funds being limited, there’s no point buying a mid rw just for the season; buy nice or buy twice and all that.

It does but Christ if our only main signing is a centre half and then this Osula kid it’s as underwhelming as it gets. The thought of Almiron starting most of games next season is brutal

Nah man, Miggy starting games still would be so bad.

If we don't sign a right winger because he stays, he is going to start getting a ton of heat.

If no right winger, then Gordon and Barnes have to start. Don't care how or where either. Miggy to the subs bench.

Would make sense. It's unfortunate but I think we would struggle with wages and squad spaces if Miggy stays AND we bring a RW in. Especially as Wilson is clearly not going anywhere.

Trippier/Lewis/Targett leaving would certainly help though.

Harsh if he gets abuse for staying mind, it’s not his fault no club wants to buy him.

Will be incredibly frustrating if Miggy and Murphy are our RWs for next season mind.

I know, but it will happen, unfortunately.

Yeah, we can't start either really. That would be such a downer.

Wouldn't be surprised. PSR doesn't really afford us the 'luxury' of keeping Almiron as a backup for a quality right attacker. We can have squad depth with some bargain basement players, or further quality funded through sales. If Gordon has indeed only 2 years left and we can get £100m this summer, his immediate sale to Liverpool has to be seriously considered.

Athletic have been saying all summer we will use most of our budget on a right winger, I’m choosing to believe this. Literal self sabotage if we go into the season with Murphy and Miggy as our prime right sided options.

The bid or interest in Guehi suggests this isn’t the case though.

I think the club will do everything it can to both move Almiron on and get a replacement. We 100% need a new RW option and there are a few ways of doing it - buy a direct replacement, loan someone with the option of making it permanent or moving Gordon over to the RW and letting Barnes become LW. I know which option I like best...

Moving Almiron on this window is the key to solving the problem though. He's got every right to dig his heels in and refuse the move though, his contract works both ways. However, he's got to understand that he needs to be replaced, the entire fanbase can see it. If he refuses the move then he's not going to be very popular across the fanbase imo. But it's his career at the end of the day

Liverpool are not going to pay £100m for Gordon especially if they don't move one of their lw's.
