NUFC Transfer Rumours

Recommended Posts

The good news is that any moves now will be fast moving with the deadline on Friday, we won’t have another dragging on saga. Bid, medical, signed, boom.

Ferran Torres gets linked all the time, hes a bit of a nothing player isnt he?

Think he stays at Barca to provide cover for Raphinha (who now plays LW) and Yamal

i can’t think of any other wing possibilities they have bar Ferminn (sp?) and occasionally Olmo if desperate

Leverkusen's Amine Adli attracting interest from Prem clubs is also interesting in there.

Would fit the profile of what we'd be after on the right wing.

Could be another potential option there for us.

Aldi and Simakan and this is a historic window

Lotta ifs flying about. 3 days to go, lads let’s just tie something down.

It's been like that since the window opened man

  1. Journo or some bullshit merchant fake ITK posts some transfer bollocks on the Twatter for clicks n giggles
  2. This place assumes transfer bollocks posted by journo or bullshit merchant fake ITK is gospel and expects signing to happen right away
  3. Jack27 starts a fred
  4. Posters argue with each other over player stats, price, FFP, wages, better alternatives we could sign in that position, why we're not signing a right winger
  5. Nothing actually happens as it was always a bollocks transfer story, this place has a collective massive nervous breakdown
  6. Journo gets a boost to his Twatter stats, keeps his gaffer happy. Bullshit merchant ITK says their usually watertight sauce has mislead them
  7. Repeat ad nauseum until the transfer window SLAMS SHUT

Interesting to see peoples take on paying £50m for a player who didn't even play half of his games last season in the position that we're looking to fill in comparison to Guehi @ £70m who was a stand out performer in the league last year, knows the Premier League & is proven in it. Younger (ok by a couple of months) than the alternative and would take no time to adapt whilst also being a current England International & club captain.

Sexy foreign name though from sexy foreign league.

Think it’s more to do with the fact that there’s 3 days left of the window and Guehi’s club aren’t playing ball. Prefer Guehi personally (for all the reasons you’ve mentioned) but Simakan is no slouch.

Hasn't it just been reported that it's the way the deal is structured that Palace aren't happy with, anyway the point I was getting it was more to do with the way the two players are viewed more than anything.

Good to see we’re “exploring alternatives” two days before the window closes, to a deal we’ve had no concrete movement on in three weeks.

Ah, some more assumptions belched out as facts. Glorious
