He is slow as anything and suited to a back 3 as he was at Inter

if we are looking at CB options I like to look of Ordonez at Brugge and Khurazov (? Lens) both 20 with huge upsides - the former being a Nickson recommendation before he moved from SA

Personally - I think we need 2CBs in the summer - both young with high upsides - then it’s up to the club which of Schar, Burn and Lascelles they keep - I’d be annoyed if 2 of the 3 are still here next season - Lascelles in theory will go..

There's not a chance that two of the three go, so you're set to be annoyed.

The clamour for Chiesa is indicative of something most fans fall into. It’s all because of an excellent Euros for Italy which was now a very time ago. He’s been a crock basically ever since and nowhere near the same player.  There’s still lads on YouTube saying we missed a trick not being in for him! What we need to find is a pre Euros Chiesa, someone about to explode. We’ve done it with Gordon, and Hall. We need to find a RW along those lines.

Think his contract is up in Summer 2026 so PSV may be looking to sell - did similar with Gakpo
