NUFC Transfer Rumours

That’s the way I see it - they’re just plate spinning but eventually they will fall.

The thing is, their fan base is arguably the most entitled in world football. They absolutely will not accept a few lean years, in order to get their finances back in order. Hence all these short term signings.

EDIT: I actually do not envy in the slightest whoever the current Barca president is.

It will catch up with them, they’ve sold off so many revenue streams in a few years they’ll be penniless.

The mad bit is they waste everything they earn. All their talent is from the academy. Imagine selling the family silver to get Aubameyang etc

I’d love to agree with you as that’s what they deserve. I’m concerned they are just kicking the can down the road to carry on challenging for titles until the Catalonian state, a European Superleague or an abolition of current rules occurs, with them of course a major player at top tables in whatever the next evolution of football is. It looks pretty much impossible for any elite team of the last 15 years to fall away now. I’ll eat my hat if any of Man City, Manure, Chelsea or Barcelona aren’t challenging for and winning major honours, whilst mopping up the most prestigious players for there squads in 5 to 10 years time in spite of their current and recent transgressions.

Meanwhile, let’s all introduce every hurdle going, fair and unfair, so wee little Newcastle, that irrelevant team in the North East, can’t mix with the big boys.

Makes you throw up your sprouts.

Linked with Grealish. Think he’d be good for us but wages would be a problem.

Not sure where he'd even play for us really.

Also, he hasn't scored a goal for an entire year. Not saying he wouldn't improve output if he came here but he wouldn't be cheap. Imagine if we signed someone from another league to play as an attacker and they'd got the same stats, we'd be against it I'm sure.

I was half keen on it for a split second. Then realised he doesn’t play on the right, he’ll be over-priced and he’s 29. Thought he was younger for some reason.

He produces nowt at Man City imo because he’s often been out out on the wing and given very little freedom there because Pep likes his wingers to keep the width. Apparently we want him as a lcm, presumably as a 8/10. If he’s willing to put in the work defensively, but then given a bit of freedom going forward, like he had at Villa, he could be very good imo.

Right wing of course should be the priority but I do think we’ve lacked creativity from midfield area too over the season.

I doubt we sign anyone over 24 - plus we have Gordon and he’s better (at the moment)

Grealish has won a lot, made a few few - I wonder in hindsight if he will ever regret the  move? (Just in terms of how he’s had to completely stop his best attribute for suit Pep)

Kenny man, have a kit kat.

Look man, I'm not saying it'll happen but there's plenty of paper talk regarding DCL. And let's face it, we'll lose Isak eventually. I still remember what we did with Andy Cole too.

What does DCL have to do with losing Isak?

Enormously cunty entitled and self serving club along with the Francoist pigs in Madrid. A derby where aliens came and wiped out all the players and infrastructure of both clubs would be heaven.
