Might as well get rid of the transfer windows at this point. Absolutely no point in it. Just have it open all season since no cunt can afford to sign anyone anyway.

Always happy to give people a pass when they’re in a toxic environment. I can imagine the atmosphere at Wolves is horrendous, similar to Everton of the past seasons.

 

Scouts will know peoples mentality and behaviours from good due diligence, so anyone we sign I’m confident they’re a good egg.

Without knowing what happened in the tunnel, none of those incidents are comparable imo but I'm not gonna go too strongly in on the debate; I get why people would want him because he's very good. We won't be interested so it's probably not worth the time. :lol:

Cunha would be near the top of me list as I want a hard working player with flair who can put up numbers. As good as Gordon is he's a bit 'boring', and someone like Elanga would be the same even if we squeeze some output from him.

 

Players like Rayan Cherki don't interest me as I know how they always end up. Honestly Cunha's perfect, he could knife a pensioner and I'd take him.

I think a few reasons…possibly

 

1. The profile of player we want is not available at the price we want

2. We still have issues with PSR which would have had to be managed if we had bought Guehi, probably by outgoings. This is going to be the case until June 30th

3. We’re not as fucked by injuries as we were in summer

4. Howe is extracting performances out of players that we maybe weren’t expecting

 

All of that together means we are probably more likely to go for our targets in summer.

It was big money though, that's certain. Now we seem terrified to spend because of PSR but they would have known all that back in the summer. A couple of signings might win us a trophy this season too. So frustrating man.

Said this at the weekend - Sky Sports might probably try to make it happen as their DEADLINE DAY AND IT'S LIVE is going to be another one where virtually nowt happens to due to shitty PSR!
