Multiple windows of no first team additions and big sales required before we can go again. Least we’re not doing a Leeds They did push us to the edge of PSR but we avoided relegation and got CL football on the back of it at the end of the day. No big sales and the value of the "lesser" players not being sold/wanted has lead us to this a lot of outlay little inlay means we simply have to go with what we have. Thankfully what we have, has us going for top 6, and 2 cups. Let’s hope we don’t lose anyone to injury along the way. Barnes and Sicknote back will help with rotation and resting Gordon/Murph and Isak.
Maggies
Surely we can now go for a loan with an obligation as we know £20m is coming in the summer.

I wonder if we're holding it back to try and take advantage of clubs in PSR trouble prior to June 30.
SAK
We’ve got £32m including the Almiron money, surely we can get a decent right winger now?

Erh, nar, cos you have to divide that number by the coefficient of friction and multiply the answer by the amount of years in the EPL, then its 25% of the last thing you ate and the answer must be a quarter of the lowest income of the Sky6, then you wait 3 seasons and sell you best player, once everyone votes at least 14 out of 20 the rules can change again. Ginola14
these outgoings will probably just enable the club to tie Isak down with a lucrative new deal - probably the most important thing for the club to do this summer
Scottish Mag
Quote Newcastle are rivalling north-east rivals Sunderland for Linfield's highly rated teenage defender Matthew Orr. The 17-year-old has become a first-team regular after signing his first professional contract earlier this season and the Northern Irish Premiership leaders have already rejected a bid from League One side Stockport County. A source has told ESPN that Newcastle are considering a move for Orr, primarily to develop the youngster in the U23 side, with Sunderland also ready to exploit existing links with Linfield, from whom they signed full-back Trai Hume for £200,000 in 2022. Sources said that Orr, who trains just two days a week with Linfield due to his determination to finish his college education, is the best prospect to emerge from Northern Ireland since Manchester United defender Jonny Evans and is ready for the step-up to the professional game in England. Joelinton7
Feels like this one and the summer are clear out windows with Mitchell bringing in youth prospects to fill those spaces. Wouldn’t expect many if any big ones this summer. But 2026 we should be set for lift off.

Jackie Broon
1 hour ago, Ginola14 said: these outgoings will probably just enable the club to tie Isak down with a lucrative new deal - probably the most important thing for the club to do this summer New contracts are generally neutral, or even a beneficial, in terms of yearly cost. Isak's amortisation currently costs the club around £12m per year and his wages are around £6m. If he signs a new 5 year contract now his yearly amortisation cost will drop to £6m, so we could double his wages without any additional yearly cost.
