NUFC Transfer Rumours

This would be such a sneaky good signing, for significantly less than the more popular names doing the rounds. Only just turned 23 this year too. Has had a really good season.

He’s so underrated, really like him. Has the physicality, two-footedness and workrate; looks like the perfect Eddie Howe winger.

Yeah, I appreciate his game too.

That article says it would be just over £30 million.

For how good he is already, and the room to get even better as he is young, it would be a really smart signing.

These are the kind of clever value moves we should be seeking out.

He can finish as well

Reading the Huijsen piece this morning in The Athletic he sounds absolutely perfect for us. Fast, really tall, two footed, brave and progressive. Too bad there’s so much competition.

I've seen him get done quite badly for pace a few times. I wouldn't say he was fast.

Fair enough, maybe you’ve watched him more. He’s tasked with covering Kirkez when he bombs forward which leaves huge space for him to cover which he does really well from what I’ve seen.

Yeah, I think he does a good job for the most part, but more through his positioning.

But I have seen some instances he got caught getting a bit too tight to a quicker attacker and got left behind when he was turned.

He's huge though, at 6 foot 6, so to be expected somewhat.

The thing with Huijsen is he's clearly got his eye on Real Madrid and they've got their eye on him so it will most likely be a profit turner rather than genuine recruitment.

Nothing wrong with that. If we pay X amount for him and he performs well enough to get Real Madrid interested in signing him then I see no issue with that. Nice thing about CBs and defenders in general is that there's no shortage of options, unlike the centre forward position.

Replacing a world class centre back won't be that easy, and besides, I'd rather not lose a key player 2 years down the line.

We might as well go for the player we'd end up replacing him with.

Positively made up with the general tone of comments of other clubs fans, and that includes many gracious congrats from Liverpool fans. Seems the football community recognises an epic fortnight for our club.

Ah but is this a rumour or a true story?

Best not to care about that sort of thing IMO, next time we win things won’t be so sporting. We don’t need the approval of clubs that have been voting to keep us in our place.

Not duly bothered either way, just makes a nice difference from the toxic stuff we see/hear, especially online
