NUFC Transfer Rumours

From Villa I would test them for Ramsey and Roger’s and maybe low ball for Bailey.

Southampton will want silly money for Dibling, but maybe again worth a low ball. Walker Peters wouldn’t be bad.

Wolves - Ait Nouri would be good. Cunha is away elsewhere unless we can sneak in during the PSR deadline

Rogers? Not a chance we’d be able to get him. He must be worth £75-100m in the current market.

Can Ramsey actually play well as an 8 in a 4-3-3?

Not seen a lot of him, but whenever I have seen him, he always looks best playing more as a winger, like Joelinton/Willock on the left wing

If Tino was £40M (including add-ons) off the back of a massive ACL injury, and Hall was £35M (including add-ons) after a handful of first-team games two seasons ago, I'm not sure how people are thinking Elliott's worth much less than £40M.

Where would we even play him? He doesn't score, or assist.

Weren't Hall and Tino perceived as way more talented than Elliot ever had been?

Sure they were both Chelsea Academy players of the year, which is a pretty big accolade looking at who comes from their academy

It’s more Liverpool actively want rid, so clubs can drive down the price as it’s been shown he won’t be used by Slot.

How's that different to Hall, though? He had no future at Chelsea.

He doesn't play, to be fair. I'd think he's got pretty much the perfect profile for a different type of RW in our system, with an overlapping FB behind him.

Not sure, like, given how early Elliott broke through and how quickly he got a move to Liverpool. I'd put them all in a similar category of potential.

If we're spending £40m on a new right winger I'd hope it was on someone who was an actual right winger. I know he's played there a little bit but I'm fairly certain he's a CM.

If we could get him for £20m and develop him I'd probably be ok with it, but £40m is a huge chunk of our likely budget.

Krafth has played more minutes in the league than Elliott this season. There’ll be a reason why him and Quansah barely play despite having a small squad so I’d avoid them.

He had a future, just we jumped on a opportune market where Chelsea were (and still are) in selling top prospects to fund whatever model they’re delivering.

Carvallho moved last summer for £22.5m rising another £5m. Liverpool are in dreamland if they feel it can be another £10m+ minimum on top of that.
