gbandit Posted Wednesday at 14:19 Share Posted Wednesday at 14:19 Who’s going to get yellow tickered first? Feels like it’s a GK, so either Trafford or Garcia. After that, we’re into the wild Wild West

Ikon Posted Wednesday at 14:25 Share Posted Wednesday at 14:25 Imo there’s no doubt that Mbeumo is a very good player. My only concern regarding him and the money is that he plays for a very transitional team and he’s not exactly great in general play. We play with quite a lot of transitions ourselves. However, more and more we will play against teams that sit back and try to frustrate us, especially as we evolve and get even better I can only see that happening more often going forward . When teams sit back we struggle at times when it comes to variety and unpredictability and become quite easy to read when we often look to take advantage from the wide areas. Not saying that i wouldn’t be happy with him but I reckon it’s something to keep in mind. Especially if we aren’t looking for a more creative source through the middle. A player that can drag the opposition out of shape to give more space and possibilities to our more direct wide players.
kingxlnc Posted Wednesday at 14:28 Share Posted Wednesday at 14:28 Kubo or Lee Kang in or Guler for that RW Mbuemo is another Barnes, prolific etc but we need another type of profile Gordon is not that creative Murphy is direct

MagPar Posted Wednesday at 14:37 Share Posted Wednesday at 14:37 I'd take Sane on a free but I think he'd be another Newcastle snob that thinks the whole city is filled with trailer trash living in caravans. As to all the people suggesting DCL, NO NO NO! Maybe Eddie would turn him into a striker that scores goals but it's debatable (I'm not going to advocate for Vardy even though I think he's a no brainer). Bryan yes but Ghe (I'm not gonna try and spell his name) fucked us about last year so he can bolt unless he says yes at the first time of asking this summer. As for Dibling at 55 million, that's just a joke price. 25 million or he can fuck off too. I hate the fact that I'll be spending an hour every day on this thread until the window 'gently' closes, best not annoy the rapey looking neighbour by slamming it shut. Not overly fussed on what keeper we end up getting, I trust Eddie.

AdoptedGeordieFromPompey Posted Wednesday at 15:09 Share Posted Wednesday at 15:09 Tyler Dibling has the potential to be World Class. I would expect Eddie would get that out of him sooner rather than later. He has it all and has that creativity that the First XI yearns for certainly against teams that sit in. Mbeumo is certainly a better player today and undoubtedly has far better statistics but Dibling could be really special. Either one would be an outstanding acquisition.
