He was my favourite player and I think our most important player in 23/24, its the seeming drop in commitment and the terrible body language which happened to coincide with talk of a move to Liverpool. He completely won me over, I didn't dislike him, liked his fight, just didnt think he was all that good. He hasn't seemed happy to be here this year, like he wished he got a move and it seems like its on his mind. Would love to see him committed again, not many like him when he is. Someone asked in another thread if we would be looking to shift Barnes...the answer is not particularly, but if we can get good money, then we can use that to strengthen other areas of the pitch which are weaker.
