BBC gossip linking us with Sancho and Grealish. I would find it hard to get behind the team if we brought those two dickheads in.

Don't believe it - totally wrong characters would ruin the dressing room

Nah. Lost any respect after the Almiron comment for me.

How about when he broke lockdown rules and drunkenly crashed his Range Rover multiple times and avoided any sort of punishment?

Funny how that seems to be forgotten about

Thought you were talking about Joelinton there. Just the old drink-driving ban rather than crashing though.

Aye and at least Tripps had the decency to go home after he cheated on his wife.

This no dickheads thing we constantly bring up is cringey as owt.

Yep. It's absolute nonsense.

We will do our due diligence on character, as far as we can. That's about it.

Alot of the best footballers to have ever played the game have "dickhead" written all over them.

It’s not nonsense though. It’s what their character is like within a team in environment and how they react in certain situations good and bad. Their private life’s will also play a part of it but a smaller one. If you think it’s just regards their private lives then I can see why you’d think it was nonsense.

HBA private life was exemplary. As was ASM’s. Not sure either would of passed EH’s no dickheads policy

Paraphrasing a bit, but it was Howe in a press conference early on saying we don't just look for good players but good characters, which got translated into "no dickheads" which I imagine isn't far from the original intent of Howes wording.

Look at what Messi did to that referee the other night. That referee will be fearing for his safety.

Glad we never signed the dickhead.
