Aye. I don’t think we can sign injury free, top class players from the top clubs. There is always going to be a degree of risk and taking advantage of a situation. 3 fold this one, his age, injury record and coming from a foreign league.  But we’ve got a good recent track record, be a class signing

I hadn't heard of him until we were linked.

 

If he is a potential top-class CB and we can get him for £30-40m then it's the sort of risk I think we're going to have to take.

Hope so. It sickens me seeing him in that Forest top. Pretty sure he’d rather be back up here as well. Was a travesty having to sell him.
