NUFC Transfer Rumours

Well, we’re sort of getting somewhere. Just the CB, CM, and ST (x2) to sort.

Another positive to take from this. It seems we've done this whilst also being in talks with Sesko. We've graduated from doing only being able to do one deal at time!

And Wissa seems done pending Brentford replacing him!

One ST would do it. Isak won’t be allowed to go this summer in any case, since no club will submit an offer that is good enough.

And we really should give Neave some chances to play. He has potential.

Now we have the trophy monkey off our back, and with it being a CL season, we should really be going with a team full of back-up's and kids in the league cup this year. Just not sure it's in Eddie's DNA.

No chance he's leaving Saudi until the end of the upcoming season.

He has to be out of the country for 2 years before comeback or HMRC willbend him over.

That's why Jordan Henderson went to Ajax for a year.

Ah of course! good point

Not sure about that one like, might have been put on the standby list while we pursue Sesko.

I think Wissa comes in regardless of Sesko to be the Wilson replacement

I hope so, there was some talk about us walking away after they quoted us £50m.

Agree on the above. I think Wissa does eventually get done, just reliant on Brentford bringing in a replacement. Think it won't be till later in the window where it will be clear if Wissa is going to be backup, or spend a season as the main guy. If Sesko falls apart I can see us going with Wissa for a season and bringing in someone young with a ton of potential from the continent to act as back up.

That’s been overblown. From what the likes of Mark Douglas were saying yesterday, the fee is fine, it’s now Brentford sourcing his replacement that’s become the blocker.

In an ideal world yes, but given what we reportedly paid for him (£20m), we'd annoyingly need a fee of at least £16m for him in order not to take an FFP loss--which I can't see anyone stumping up. Sale of Dubravka would be near enough pure profit FFP-wise though. Shite that we have to think in these terms.

If the choice is selling or keep then it's £12m to break even as you've got £4m hitting the books this year regardless. Factoring in wages saved maybe more like £11m
