These are fans that are watching the likes of Yamal every week.

If they knew what we have been putting up with on the wings I doubt they would have that viewpoint [emoji38]

Not to mention, the sort of profile of player they usually go after is very different to what we would. Because a player would be underwhelming for them doesn't mean a damn thing in the context of us.

Potentially we could do Barca a favour here either on loan or to buy for £10 million or so.

I can remember interest in him before he signed for Barca.

Him as RW and a new LW will be tasty proposition.

If we can get another 60-80m for tonali that would be another incredible business.

60-80m? In this market Tonali is clearly a £100m midfielder. Arsenal, Man City and Man U would all be in a bidding war for him so there's no way he goes for less than £85m in my opinion

Unless Italian clubs come sniffing.

He may choose to go home.

They won't bid £85m either.

It will definitely take a bid North of £80m to get us at the table, we're not active sellers with Tonali but he does seem to have one foot out the door. Manchester United seem to have an eye on him so I don't think £100m is unreasonable.

If it's an English club he will command 100m. If it's other leagues then 60-80 with add ons will be possible. It would still be fantastic business.

Its not unreasonable when relegated West Ham are looking for 80 for Fernandes

Why we selling Tonali when we've just sold Gordon?

Tbf when the season ended that's what the assumption would be.

Both gone but Livramento stays and nobody else of importance goes. I wouldn't be surprised if two big sales happens personally, but it's important in between those sales that some significant incomings also happens.

I think Sandro stays tbh,

Depends on quite a few unknowns really.

He may want to go if the right bid comes in?

The Terms of this pending fine and the rebuild needed may dictate another sale?

Tino no longer likely to leave due to declining interest?

The lack of a current front of shirt sponsor and finishing outside of european places may mean another big sale is now needed?

If no one comes in for Livramento, do we think it'll be a case of "you have two years left, sign a contract or there's the bench" and we sign a good RB/play Miley there most of the season unless we need Tino as a last resort, or will we be pragmatic and play him even if it's clear he'll be away/has no intention of signing? I guess it depends on which side you come down on re. which option would be the right thing for the club. I'd probably be inclined to fuck him off to the bench if he doesn't want to be here/won't sign a contract to protect us but with agreements he can go if someone put the right money up etc...

We have to stop clinging to players, I would rather Tonali left. Unhappy players are no good for team unity.

We need to accept that we’re in phase two of this project.

The new stadium needs clarifying and we need a squad of young hungry wonderkids who can reinvent us and take us to the next level which is to be more consistently in the European places.

Nah we'll play him and we should imo. Reality is we finished 12th in the league so a lot of players Hall, Tino, Bruno, Tonali won't commit long term, reality of football is people won't commit to a team if they think they can do better.

Sandro is open to a move if it materialises but not pushing for one and still as committed as ever. That’s why he kept playing, and there was no drop off in his play that I could see.

Just takes 4-5 top signings this summer to add to that and with one game a week, we could have a belting season. No reason we can't make those 4-5 quality additions either.
