After a year of watching Wissa and Woltemade we’re still turning our noses up at the idea of Nunez?

Aye, alright lads :)

Turning our noses up ? He’s on ridiculous wages and has never been a goal scorer. Wissa has a better record in the prem than he does.

I’d be happy to welcome Nunez even though I think he looked largely useless for Liverpool. That’s based purely on what I imagine Howe could do to help him. It would be delicious if he came here and Eddie got him playing. Liverpool fans I know loved him for his work rate and fight.

Not saying we’ll sign him, but he would hardly be what he’s on in KSA

Nunez is a better footballer than Wissa

Linked with Union Saint-Gilloise’s winger Anan Khalaili in the weekly athletic deal sheet.

Aren't they owned by Tony Bloom?

A google says he's a young right sided player I guess if true does mean we are considering both wings?

From some Dennis Wise scouting he looks to be more of a full back / wing back who can also play on the left

Us and Tottenham, Bournemouth & Napoli. Rarely get any excitement when multiple clubs are mentioned tbh.

Newcastle sets a price and Vlachodimos takes action: he wants to stay at Sevilla

Tl;dr

We want £10 million and aren't willing to loan him again. Sevilla can't afford it. There are Greek and Turkish clubs interested but he isn't.

Looks like few purples could go

It is positive for me - looks like some lessons have finally been learned.  We’d

likely be in a healthier position if we’d done this a couple of years back, but that’s spilt milk.  Onward and upward.

Does the prick ever report anything for us in a positive light? It's always "Newcastle can't do the deal" or "Newcastle will have to sell x, y and z". Even reporting the Jaouen deal he was just like "the deal's happening", no HERE WE GO and emojis all over the place. Guess we're not one of the teams paying him so he doesn't give us the preferential treatment

We don't pay him hence the coverage.

Agreed, but I do also think he’s probably right in this instance
