Us with a fully fit squad, a few extra additions and no european competition next season would make for a pretty interesting year.

Then I think next time around we'd be better equipped for europe.

Yeah I'm sure we'll do fine next season. It does feel like this one might be beyond rescue by the end of this month. Although if we can get a few returning from injury we could still challenge for Europa.

There’s still half a season to play, we’ve hopefully had our horrific spate of injuries and poor form. There’s no telling what might befall other teams in the coming months. Anyone making any solid predictions at this stage needs giving the same credence as Mystic Meg

Yeah, the notion that FFP is about fairness is a joke.   It's about making sure the clubs at the top earning more money are the ones that can spend the most and maintain status quo

The number of times FFP and FMV is mentioned maybe we should have a separate thread on both the issues until they’re no longer relevant.

Honestly think I'd sell Bruno of the three.

A player we cannot win without and “never” injured vs a player who have been injured since he came.

Love Isak like.

Say we do have to sell one of Bruno, Isak or Botman, who do you vote for? Like deciding whether to stab yourself in your eyes, balls or cock.....

Bruno. He would command a fee of around 70-80m and would mean we could spend twice or thrice that on replacement(s), and praying Tonali hits the ground running next season.

Due to FFP there has to come a time when we will have to sell one of our prize assets if we want to get to the next level.

We wouldn’t make money on him if we did sell imo.

Of course we would. He was about the same price as Hojlund but is an order of magnitude better.

Would be idiotic to sell him mind.

What did we spend 60 million ? No chance we get more than that imo with his injury record

We do, easily.

Oshimen is what 120m? Isak is half of that? Your undervaluing him massively.

the major issue, is the market is small for such expensive players but he’s better than what Arsenal, Chelsea and Man United have.

We shouldn't be selling any of them, but Bruno would be the hardest to replace by quite a distance.

Do you think? I get the feeling it's harder to find a quality attacker.

he goes for significantly more than 70-80M, remember the fees midfielders with potential go for now

The fact we are even talking about having to sell one of our better players just shows what a nightmare FFP is for us and also how much of a backward step this season is having on our overall project. Frustrating.

Would really hurt to see any of those 3 mentioned going to one of our rivals, just because they have a head start and can spend whatever they want because of it.

He'd be the hardest to replace IMO. We can look all we like at strikers like Osimhen, but he's not coming here. World class strikers are a rare commodity, every club is after them.

He's 26 now, I doubt he is going to get any better unless he has a similar level of players around him. If he was 23/24 I think he would go for 100M.

Andrey Santos, rumours.

Chelsea to cancel loan with forest due to lack of minutes, apparently we wanted him back before he signed with Chelsea.

Can we loan another Chelsea player with Hall already on our books?

Doesn't the fact that we have added a lot of new sponsorships deals mean that we no longer need to sell?

I don't know the answer, is it 2 PL in total?

And don't forget although he has featured the odd few minutes recently, Howes body language and response when quizzed on Hall last month was not convincing in the slightest, could Hall go back?

Edit:

I stopped being lazy:

They are:
- Premier League clubs may not register more than two players on loan at any one time.
- The maximum number of loans registrable in the same season is four, and, under no circumstances, shall more than one be from the same club at any one time.
- Premier League clubs cannot loan to another Premier League club a player they have acquired in the same transfer window.
- A Premier League club may loan not more than one of its goalkeepers to another Premier League club.

Exactly this. Can anyone name a striker on Isak's level, that would be willing to join us, and wouldn't have a bunch of other clubs after them that can pay higher wages and are more established than us?

Hardest position to fill, so would be a major backwards step.

What percentage of that Sela deal was spent in the summer? I know we will be due some money from the CL but it won't be that much.
