Bonkers no one went for Gyokeres last summer. He'll cost circa £100 million next window.

You'd think him and Sesko will be hot property.

Really defies logic i agree

Who's the 2nd striker? Wilson or Gordon?

Both. Wilson second, Gordon third.

We’ve been short with Isak, Wilson and Gordon filling in. Definitely could do with a young striker to bring off the bench this summer.

Nah I’m happy with those 3. Need Isak to be more robust and not play risky games with Wilson.

Isak has struggled to stay fit since getting here.

Wilson has a pretty dreadful injury record throughout his career. He’s missed half his games here, for example. He looks to have finally lost his sharpness this season when he’s been available.

Gordon isn’t a striker. Might be ok as 3rd or 4th choice. If those ahead of him in the pecking order could consistently stay fit.

It would be madness to rely on just Wilson and Isak again. Wilson needs moving on.

I think we all know that’s a big ask.

Aye he wont. Wilson will only get worse. Repeat of the same problem.

Back to Bournemouth and we pay a chunk for Solanke? Would much prefer Sesko like.

Aye, I'd prioritise the right sided forward for the big money money this summer.

Then depending on sales, anything from RCB, LB (depending on Hall) DM and ST would be welcome.

Definetly all about quality over quantity as ever.

I think Isak has struggled with fitness because we keep needing to rush him back from injury because Wilson is out as well.

I think Sesko, Gyokeres and Leao, as much as they've been mentioned, are levels above what we can attract at the minute.

I go a fair few Coventry games and really thought we would have been interested. So many times last season I thought he’d be perfect for us. He likes a night out now and then though.

That works both ways, TBF.

RW, CF, DM, CB, CB/LB where hopefully we're keeping track of the free transfer market (Tosin, Kelly, Hermoso etc)

Sell for money: Almiron, Wilson, Fraser, Lewis, Hayden, Targett

Release: Hendrick, Ritchie, Dummett, Gillespie

Seems a bit too straightforward and I'm sure a couple of those sales will be a struggle.

Still not sure we’ll go for a specialist DM. But having someone else other than Bruno that is capable of playing the deeper role, would be nice.

I still don’t think Tonali is that player and we know the rest of them are not really up to it playing there.

If we keep Joelinton (and Bruno…..). Then I don’t think we prioritise midfield at all.

I think with joe linton, anderson and tonali back into the midfield, we are stacked there, it is not a priority...

We really need an upgrade on murhp and miggy, sell one of them to offset a bit.

Wilson is far too fragile now and is at an age where if we want to sell him it has to be this summer (promoted team?). Need a striker as competition to Isak ASAP.

We are crying out for more creativity: I would love to see Bruno moved up the pitch and/or a player who could possibly play in a nº10 attacking midfielder role.

Need a left back if Hall is not deemed good enough. Also a righ centre back as I am unsure how long Schar can keep it going and stay injury free.

Using this logic, we’d have no squad left.

Not really.  We should have 1 primary striker, an understudy and a versatile player.

Arsenal have 1 striker, an understudy and a couple versatile options at 9.

Spurs have a main striker who often plays on the wing. And a backup striker.

City have a main striker. A versatile backup striker.

Villa have a main striker and a backup striker.

Only Liverpool have a number of striker options. And their manager actually rotates and makes proactive subs.

Isak needs to be available for 80% of matches.  He needs an understudy be that Wilson or someone else and then Gordon as 3rd choice. If he can’t be fit 80% of the time, let’s cash in and get someone that can. I love him but he needs to be more robust. We can’t carry a £60m player who misses 50% of games. We’ll get our money back, probably a profit which will fund an excellent replacement.

Id rather invest in RW, CB, LB and another CM/RW before spending £30m+ on a Wilson replacement

Good luck getting any sort of fee for Fraser, Lewis & Hayden.

Don't think we'd be able to get anything close to what we paid for Wilson and Targett either considering their injury record (and in Wilsons case age too) and wages.

ESR would be a no-brainer if he wasn’t so injury-prone. Also a right-footer that plays on the left, which we have a few of already.

Mbuemo for the rw/back up striker slot would be my realistic pick for the summer. So underrated and suits our play-style.
