andycap
He's just a bairn isn't he? We could develop him into not needing to go to ground as often. Looks super strong 💪 and quick. Didn't see much of his passing range on the video mind.
Ikon
Wouldn’t mind a young quality CB with potential and Kolo-Muani in on loan if possible at all. Providing that he checks the boxes regarding character and such important things. His versatility and quality is not in question. Would prefer only permanent signings but I doubt we can get two. K-M because we only have Isak - as Osula is nowhere near ready. (I guess his wages are at around 200k though?) Shak
I've never seen him play but Khusanov seems like the absolute right profile of player we should be targeting at CB. Come in with the plan for him to slot in behind Schar and take over for him at the start of next season. If he comes in and is an absolute colossus from day one and takes over sooner all the better but a bedding in period seems the most likely outcome. Whitley mag
Could probably sign Khusanov, Bah and Dibling for the price of Guehi, it’s definitely the way forward in the current financial situation.
Jewel
Have always wanted to see us sign an Uzbek ever since Maksim Shatskikh tore us a new one in the Champions League.

Fair one. Imagine he’d have a bucket load of suitors though. Probably Chelsea.
STM
We signed Dan Burn for 14m. Where are those signings now? An absolute bargain in retrospect. I'd love us to not be afraid to think outside the box. Especially if we may have Europe on the cards next year. I'm not saying we shouldn't primarily sign young players to improve but there's something to be said for finding experienced players who aren't as expensive or coming to the end of their contracts etc. Is there someone on loan we could attract? A striker to see us through to the summer in case Isak breaks? Thoughts and ramblings perhaps but I just hope the club doesn't become narrow minded. Aye he's looked absolutely shite but I'm not going to give up on him. I remember what Krafth was like before Howe. Next season i reckon we see a different player. Mazzy
Khusanov looks like the kind of player who would absolutely get a red card 5 minutes into his debut.
Rafalove
so this guy is a Scottish, follower of Uzbekistan football, and is coincidentally based in Newcastle. Seems to rate him.
The College Dropout
Why do people think Dibling will be cheap? Defensive teenagers like Gray and Hall have gone for over £30m. Dibling will go for closer to £50m than £30m imo.
Checko
Like the look of Khusanov - looks pretty fast, two-footed, some nice passes, even takes some free kicks. Very aggressive. Gets a ton of interceptions but also quite a few yellows. From his stats, although he's listed at about 6'1"/2 he wins a lot of aerial balls. Feel we played quite well with Botman covering while Schar was more aggressive so they may pair well. That said, he hasn't played that much in Ligue 1. Only 20 games or so. Might be more of a Saliba project where he needs a bit more time to develop there before being Prem ready. Could see him staying on loan this year and maybe next. Stifler
He’s not getting that physicality in the Premier League, especially against the red tops.
Zero
Dibling will be around 50m. That said, he does worth a gamble. It’s harder to find a great RW nowadays. Tons of supply for LW. I don’t know why, might be due to the inverted wingers trend.
The College Dropout
Think the inverse is true. there’s an array of top class left footed wide players. To the point nobody cares that Olise didn’t choose England. With Saka, Palmer, Bowen even Foden England are spoilt for Choice. Then you have Mbeumo, Amad and Salah. It’s a lot weaker with the right footed wide players. Diaz and Gakpo might be the best in the league which is a big drop off from prime Mane, Sterling, Son and Rashford days. Gordon might legit be top 5. Martinelli is poo. Rashford is poo now. All the city wingers are poo. Son isn’t at the same level.
