The point is for what Slot wants from the position it's no surprise he's opted for Jones there instead. Quansah can play there bit it's more like when we have Burn at left back instead of Hall. I can't remember reading he's leaving at the end of the season and Mamardashvili is joining them in July. I'm sure there's a transformational keeper out there, someone who isn't going to need replacing for ages, for £20-30m, but I don't think Ramsdale would be that. If Alisson is still there next season it could possibly take a little while before Marma gets in, but he’ll be there soon enough and become the No.1 for years to come.
