NUFC Transfer Rumours

According to a few podcasts I've listened to, he's a sound lad and the wolves players love him.

Ok, so he's clearly got a spark to him, but that's football. There's many a great player who've had an edgy side.

Yes i don't like the flailing arms but you could see it as a frustrated player who wants more from his side.

Am I making excuses? Perhaps. I'd back Eddie and the team to be the judge on character. He's an absolute class player and within 6 months those who don't fancy him might look a tad silly.

Pretty much how I see it. Yes there’s been a couple of incidents for whatever reasons, and they don’t look very nice. Having said that, it doesn’t define entirely that person X is 100% this or that. Hopefully he’ll have learned something from it.

From a pure footballing perspective I just really really think his attributes would take us up another dimension, easily. Imo for what I think and visualise in my head I reckon for what he’d bring to our arsenal and he’d make the team and other players around him so much more dangerous. My view on it is that while 60m is a lot of money I can see it being a bargain in the near future when I consider how much of a difference he could/would make for us.

I reckon that it’s much easier to find a CB that is cheaper than 50m but one that still brings 90% of what the more expensive one does.

I see a player like Cunha helping us to score so many more goals in general, and not just because of his goals/assists.

I know not the exact same position but I think if we signed him he could be our Cantona, something about his play and the edge he has reminds me of him, coupled with Isak it could be terrifying

He plays in all front 3 positions and can play as a 2 with Isak - can play as an AM - literally ticks every single box as a Howe signing

We don’t leak our real transfer targets to the press months in advance. May well have interest but the fact Hope is saying it makes me think we’re not going to buy him, hopefully a misdirect while we get someone of better value.

However, in isolation, he’d be a cracking Newcastle player I reckon.

If we get CL I wouldn’t be extremely surprised to see us spending up towards 150m. Especially if we sell Longstaff for example.

I reckon that we’ll be able to do some great commercial deals as well to strengthen us financially going forward.

Hope has never had a clue to be fair.

We don’t do our business publicly, Isak was a cracking example of that, came out of nowhere.

Better to just not believe anything until they’re stood at SJP with a shirt in hand.

When was the last time we signed a player out of the blue?

Usually the names we end up signing have all been linked weeks and months before we actually sign them.

Tonali was a bit of a surprise?

well to poor Milanista it was

Yeah, we were apparently close to signing the Inter midfielder whose name escapes me then all of a sudden up pops Sandro!

I think it’s normally a few weeks in advance since the takeover. Tino felt like the longest-mooted but never seemed in doubt.

Maybe you are right, but my sense is that things are normally quite advanced by the time reporters are consistently saying the same thing.

He's absolutely nothing like Joelinton like

Yeah and there's no point in signing like for like players. That never works out. Otherwise we'd end up targeting Alex Iwobi as competition for Big Joe. What we need is different profiles.

There will be games at home when we need a more guile and others where we need more steel.

Reckon we go back at those numbers. I do believe those who said he really wanted to come last summer.

If Palace are content to do a deal at that price in June maybe, but good chance Palace mess around and start by asking for 70m or something and they don’t get real until August. If that’s the case I think after last summers shambles they’ll move on

I mean, they have to lose Guehi unless they can get him to sign a new deal.

Well they could sell in January for even lower, they could let him go for nowt next year.

Fuck knows, but yes it seems fairly obvious that they sell him.

Not a chance they’ll be asking for £70m in June! Parish being a bellend will cost them about £25m - the tosser!

I’d love him here mind (Guehi not Parish!)!
