Loving that they're continuing to look for young talent to bring in.

It's somewhat tragic how few young players come through at the club.

Aye. Can’t condone that CRonaldo celebration though

Especially when he's doing the Schar celebration before going into the C Ronaldo one.

Nico Schlotterbeck looks like a Dan Burn mark ll

Would be a great addition imo

Gonçalo Ignacio would probably be the better option on the basis he can play LB too - Hell sign Wilfred Singo too who can play both positions on the other side

Schlotterbeck’s injured until January or something isn’t he? Great player but as left sided as you can get; we’ll be looking for an rcb, I imagine.

Aye, as long as we've both Botman and Burn I'd be amazed if we go for another left footed CB.

Does it really matter? There doesn't seem to be the same expectation for central midfield, or concern about right footed central defenders playing together.

Have plenty of time for all these young players being signed for a few quid. A few are bound to hit it big aka Minteh

Well, left footed CBs (almost) always play on the left. Playing one on the right would probably take the player out of his comfort zone.

The team directly below his (Kofane) club in the league (Cordoba) features one of Zinedine Zidane's sons in midfield. His other kid is a goalkeeper in the same league (Granada).

That is all.

Elanga seems to be very good mates with Osula and Isak, I wonder if we revisit that.

I hope not..If we want to go to the very next level then we need players that are better and more technical in general play. Not just players who have their strengths in transitions alone, more or less.

Hope these links to Mbeumo are right and I hope we show the ambition  to go for it. Absolutely ideal for us and takes us towards a title battle imo

Hope so too, 18 goals mostly from the wing is absolutely elite.

I don’t think there are many to clubs who would prioritise him/be able to get him. Arsenal and Liverpool have players in that position.  City a non starter, I don’t think Chelsea and Spurs will be able to pay the money

Seems we're quite content for the Huijsen, Guehi, Mbuemo and Cunha to be public knowledge.

Give they'll all be subject to high prices and significant competition, I'm not convinced.

Does Mbuemo's contract run out next year? I think he's great value at £60m. The question is how much of our budget does that take up.

It does, but Brentford have another one-year option, so it’s effectively two years.

Not able to read the article, but Wilfried Singo is an interesting name. Does it say we are looking at him?

Saw some of him when he was in Italy and played a fair bit at right back/right wing back. But now plays at centre back at Monaco.

Quite the physical specimen and incredibly comfortable on the ball, and can play centre back and right back.

Would seem to fit the profile of a long term partner for Botman.
