Surely Trafford is one of the few goalies who could still reach World class level? he's still only 22 and conceeded 16 goals this year.

Sorry Rich, meant to reply to this as my first post came across as Flippant.

 

I think with Tino and Hall they were both highly rated and playing in positions which feels quite difficult to fill, also a younger age profile as well 

 

Elliot has come off a middling season and is 22, he lacks the athleticism and pace to play out wide so you have to play him centrally imo, which begs the question. Are you willing to pay 40m for a reserve cm?

 

They may get 40m for him after all Arsenal rinsed Fulham for 40m for ESR but I think he doesn't make much sense for us.

 

Although, I Caveat all of this by saying if Eddie wants him im in. :lol:

Just a small thing, it was £27m Arsenal got for him (maybe more if clauses are met). £30m feels the upper end for these type of deals, not £40m that.

Close enough, the point being that Cartel clubs always get high fees for players who have played first team minutes.

Pointless article, though another link to Jacob Ramsey 

 

I asked in a different thread maybe, but what is his best position and how would that work for us? I always thought of him as a left winger in a 4-3-3, like Willock Was a couple year ago. Could he form a 3 man midfield with Tonali and Bruno? 

 

I also don't like the idea of helping Villa out, I feel he could be a bit surplus to them and they won't miss him (assuming they keep 1 of Rashford / Asensio)

Of course, if not the total package would have been over 20m in one Financial year.

 

The whole point of the PSR swap is to spread the cost over a longer period of time to reduce the impact in one year. 

 

Best case Scenario for Vlad is we get someone to take him on loan and pay his wages.

I have no idea who he is but I hope we sign one or two players with the profile of Bangoura in an attempt to bulk the squad out a bit. 

 

I trust our scouting network to unearth one or two that could make an impact even if it was just as squad players.

Allison's wage demands will be insane imo

 

Could see him going to a big club abroad still earning well, or Saudi, rather than stepping down in the Prem
