NUFC Transfer Rumours

Recommended Posts

Players we must not sell regardless of inflated fees offered:
- Isak
- Tonali

- Bruno G

- Botman

 - Livramento

- Hall

- Miley

- Joelinton

- Osula

Players that have low transfer value but are important to the squad (don't sell):

- Burn

- Schar

- Trippier

- Murphy

- Krafth

- Lascelles

- Dubravka

Players we could consider selling if an inflated fee is offered:

- Barnes or Gordon

- Willock

- Pope

Players we should sell/release:

- Wilson

- Targett

- Longstaff

- Vlachodimos

Positions to strengthen:

- GK (If Pope is sold and a good value upgrade is available)

- RCB (must sign)

- CM (someone who can retain possession for games against low block)

- RW (must sign)

- LW (If Gordon or Barnes are sold)

- Striker (must sign)

You wouldn't sell Osula for an inflated fee? Why?

In this FFP age the only players who aren't for sale are those who can't be replaced.

Watched him long and hard a striker with little about him no trickery or guile and certainly not champions league quality. Also tries to cheat referees on a regular basis. He is basic and not what we need to compete with Barcelona or Inter

He’s a perfect striker in todays game, had running beyond a back line that teams hate.

He's not finished article, but then any 2nd striker we sign shouldn’t be as Isak is that, and Howe can take them to next level. For £30m, he’s a great pick up but looks like going elsewhere.

Tonali / Isak / Burn / Hall / Gordon are only hands off players for me, for their current quality, years to come, leadership or style of play.

Everyone else has a price in this modern day.

We paid £40m for Tino when he was an unproven talent coming back from an ACL injury. Now, there’s a good chance he’s England’s right back for the next decade.

They’re looking at £80m-£100m for us to consider it.

With regards to Delap, his next move is massive for him. He needs to consider it really carefully, as the coach he’s going to play for is probably more important than the club.

Sign for someone like Howe or Emery and he’s Englands next main man up top. Sign for someone like Postacoglu or the current mess that’s Man United and he could well end up as a bench merchant at West Ham in a couple of years.

I absolutely do not want to sell him. As a one on one defender. There aren’t many better in the league. But I’m hoping next season when he moves back to RB. He can be just as effective as he has been playing at LB.

He wasn’t playing particularly well at RB earlier in the season. Certainly not going forward.

I hope Howe and co can get some confidence into him so he might attempt a shot or a killer pass a bit more often. He gets in great positions over and over. But always seems reluctant to pull the trigger.

The only goal he has scored came from him basically running it into the net

Man City wanting Tino should tell you everything

They think he's good enough / talented enough to win those big CL  games and PL titles they will be fighting for.

Amazing scouting from us again

Him and Hall were a bargain and are a position we do not need to worry for the next 10 years. Lord knows how much a good full back will cost then.

Man Shitty interested in Livramento according to Fabrizio

For £120m, I'd consider doing a deal with City.

Reckon he'll end up at Chelsea, which would be another crazy move

Not really. They are a CF away from being a very very good team and he’ll be paid what he demands and more with the security of an extra 4 years.

What is crazy about it?

If I was to have a bet.

Huijsen will end up at Chelsea, given who is agents are.

Delap will end up at Man United.

Agree with both of those

Putting the Parish and Palace stuff aside, as well as likelihood. Who would people pick between Guehi (40m) and Huijsen (50m)?

I think I would go for Guehi personally. Because he’s more experienced and is more of a leader. But most importantly I think he would stay long term and be committed for longer.
