So Tino, Gordon, Wissa, Tonali, Schar, Trippier, Krafth, Ruddy gone this summer, thats a canny hole to fill

Willock too. Last year of his contract so sale will be needed after knocking back Fulham’s bid in January.

Not sure I can place my trust in talk sport but if true what are we doing lol

It was a strange one but the local journalists confirmed it wasn’t anywhere near the £20m being claimed by BEIN Jacobs and we didn’t want to leave ourselves more shorthanded with injuries. Prescient given Miley and Bruno subsequently got injured.

Fair enough if we couldn't get them to offer something acceptable.

Hopefully we can get an offer this summer.

Schar has been a huge miss for us. Thiaw has recovery pace and made a nice tackle on Haaland but Schar made us solid as a unit and progressed the ball so well.

I would add Murphy

Put Tino and Gordon to one side (and the two nonsense keepers)

To think as of now we have Pope - Trippier - Krafth - Schar - Burn - Willock - J Murphy (and to a point Lascelles and Targett) is incredible - absolute amateurish squad build

Is there anything about NUFC that you do like?

Also there is much less potential for an unanticipated thunderbastard out of nowhere with Schar out.  Nobody does it as well as him

Can we not make points on this forum?

Have I stated anything wrong or offensive in my post?

Ignore @Fak he's just doing a Poundland @Rod impression hoping to inspire the return of the main man himself

Of course you can.

It does seem though that everytime you post you're exceptionally and hugely critical of almost every aspect of the club. Just wondering if there's anything you do like about Newcastle Utd? Just an observation. Apologies if the question offended.

TBF those are all meant to be backups and squad players at best.

I have posted about Howe - mainly his tactics and approach - which I am entitled to based on what I see - never once made it personal towards him and have always praised him for what he’s achieved here - also defended him saying our footballing structure is broken leaving him by himself - and I have criticised the recruitment which has been proven to be expensive and not value for money

In addition I have posted regarding what I think needs to happen in the summer

That’s 3 aspects - Tactics, recruitment and squad build - I don’t believe I have criticised any other aspect of the club

But they still need upgrading do they not? I see them all at a point whereby they are regressing and not providing us with the backup we now need

Aye that's fine pal. I never said you couldn't do any of that and certainly never said you got personal towards anyone. Apologies again for the question I asked Mikky.

I don’t take offence to anyone on this forum and no need to apologise - think we are all a bit tense at the moment - think it’s football fatigue setting in

Yeah of course, I just don’t think it reflects ‘that’ badly on the squad building because of the number of signings we’ve needed to make since the takeover.

Can’t wait to see a lot of them gone, obviously. And some of the first team TBH

I reference the broken structure above EH - remember we went 4/5 windows signing no one - goes without saying, stability at DoF  mitigates this

Looking at the summer with rumours of a lot of turnover - is it not feasible for us to sign 3/4 in the “potential bracket” for say fees of £15m? Look at Methaelie - valued at 12-15m - Bournemouth bought Gimenez for 15m - is there not a young Bassong out there? or a Milenkovic as someone slightly older?

We defo need to be streetwise - spot potential and market opportunities early

We surely will be keeping schar he still has a year left in him at the top level.

Plus it would mean less defensive recruits needed with tripps Krafth and tino leaving more than likely.

Right, who’s going?

He is clearly not happy with some of the first team squad. My guesses re exits:

Wissa, Gordon, Livramento, Botman, Joelinton and Tonali. (Latter two not because of his dissatisfaction with their effort or application).

I just can’t see any way we can lose that much quality from the first team. Unless we’re entering a 3+ year rebuilding period where we’ve really changed our ambitions.

If Livramento doesn't want to be here then that's fine with me. He has been shocking at times this season.

Gordon is half arsed and can do one as well.

Would hate to lose Tonali but what will be will be.

The other 3 have been absolutely gash and we will be well rid.
