sushimonster85
Article mentions Napoli in for him but not offering enough. Hate to piss on chips but this seems like our name being used to drive up the price.

gbandit
Calafiori and Diomande significantly in front on stats and younger too. We had quoted values that they’d go for?

Joelinton7
Don’t think we’ll be signing a left footed CB with Burn, Botman and Kelly already in situ and us needing a Schar alternative/upgrade.

Well the two CBs have been their best outfield players so far, and along with Donnarumma only thing that stopped them getting hammered yesterday (even acknowledging the unfortunate own goal, which was more death by a thousand cuts given the pressure). Buongiorno is also left footed for what it's worth - so I'm not sure he'd a great fit even though he's a very solid player. I think if any of them were right footed (Scalvini got injured pre tournament) they'd be playing a back 3, and tbh probably should do anyway given the struggles in midfield and wide areas. Emotic
Love the Italian names that can be literally translated into something totally mundane in English. Alexander Goodmorning. Fred Church, son of Henry Church.

gbandit
In jest, but we told Alfie Harrison he had a route to the first team. Im sure that’s true but Howe’s route for younger players coming into the team is generally a gentle one unless they have a fair amount of experience of first team football at that level already
