I might be imagining it. But it feels like teams are putting a bit more pressure on him when he is deep in our half. Plus when it is Botman inside on his wrong foot and then Murphy in front, who isn’t the best on the ball. He doesn’t have an easy out ball. 
 

 

The odd dribbling run aside, his quality on the ball has always been his weak point. Don't think its a problem though, just a limiting factor that he can't be used as a playmaking FB like Trippier & Hall.

His lack of end product is alarming, he's got pretty much everything you need in the defensive part but when we go forward he's so poor, had a chance early in the game from the right and despite having multiple options to cross too he picked out their defender.

It is actually shocking how poor her the with Murphy when they are in possession. 

 

Not once has Murphy played him in. Tino never crosses early. It's really weak on that side when we get sustained possession. Very predictable patterns that end in giving the ball away more often than not.

I think he's had an OK season to be honest, expected him to flourish a bit more but maybe he's a slow learner. Defensively absolutely fine - attacking wise not great.

I was tearing my hair out at that abysmal cross. I'm not one who is normally too critical of his passing as I think his pace and defensive qualities make up for it, but he was a bit all over the place at times yesterday.

His runs with the ball out of defence are class. Just needs to work on the final cross and cutback and he will go from being a good fullback to world class

Both him and Hall have been guilty of this in recent weeks. I know it’s decades since I played football at any decent level, but when playing as a defender I was always told never let the ball bounce, always head it even if it’s into touch
