I’ve always thought he looked very comfortable, albeit only really seen him in preseason games. 
 

Should definitely be used more, arguably better LB option than Burn if it gave Burn a rest.

He's got around 50 first team appearances at different levels so he can hold his own, i think we'll see a bit of him in the next period and hopefully he can grab his chance.

I shared a house with a guy who teached him in secondary school 😂. Said he’s a really good lad and he could tell straight away he would be good enough for the PL. Seems very calm and assured at least anyways. Might be a different story if he’s marking pedro 😂

Actually thought he looked alright when he came on, showed good pace for one of their counters and won a good header late on if I'm not mistaken

I'd rather hoy the lad in given he is a specialist LB, as opposed to shoehorning someone like Gordon or Barnes into the role. I hope he does well if he is given the chance.

I get that he has been playing a lot more safe and secure on the ball than some of the others and maybe trying to impress more to force his way into Howe’s plans. But he has been really assured tonight. When plenty of others haven’t been. 
 

Makes me feel a bit less scared about needing him to fill in at left back or CB.

Happy for him to get 90 mins but he dosn't seem to have many standout qualities at either positions. But maybe when we see him more it'll show.

Really steady. In a game where BDB and Botman 2000 were pinging passes to Qarabag players, he looked far more measured. It’s a shame we haven’t had more easy ride cup ties.

Did well I thought, seemed to be solid and used the ball well. Not sure if Eddie rates him for him to make it longer term but tonight won't have done his career any harm at all.
