Lewis Hall

Looks good in this left side of him and the Joes. I think with Gordon ahead of Hall it leaves too much space for him to have to defend more often than not and his attacking instincts get stifled.

Totally agree, two joes infront of him makes a huge difference. Complete change from the last couple of seasons where we look more dangerous down the left rather than the right.

He's obviously young, and he's going to have ups and down, but I can confidently say he's going to be the best left back the world has ever seen.

Impressed by him every time I see him. You can picture him starting to impact games more and more because technically he's very good. Only just 20 so the potential is enormous.

Yes was very good tonight. Getting better each game. I even think he has a higher ceiling than Tino.

Just got more footballing ability than Tino.

Tino can defend though.  So there’s that.

He won’t be a better one to one defender than Tino, but forward wise he’s got high potential.

Thought I would give this thread a morning bump. He has probably been our best player over the last few games. Growing confidence with every match. I will look forward to seeing him progress this season.

Showing his talent. Profile of player we should sign more of hopefully. Keep saying it, but there’s so much talent in the young English groups. Actual silly amounts.

It’s a premium the market, but the talent is there in an abundance for this crop.

Not even much of a premium for some of them.

Delap looks a great deal at £20m. Livramento went to Southampton for £5m.  Palmer for £40m is a bargain. Rogers £8m. Watkins £20m.

One of the best things about him is he already leads by example. Has bags of confidence, never backs down. Can get him into trouble occasionally, but it bodes incredibly well for him long term.

Yeah he looks really good tbf. He's got a decent international chance soon too given the lack of striker options in the England setup.

Very true. We’re also in a position where we can offer the pathway to first team (and national team as seen with Gordon / Tino and soon to be Hall). So should be making the most of this in next 18 months, whilst the top sides have their pathways blocked and the talent looks elsewhere.

Man Utd got a very good crop ready to come through too with likes of Lacey.
