Some folks on here really deserved to have to watch Steve Bruce manage this team every week [emoji38]

And they really deserve results like this, so suck it up and take it.

Give over with this attitude man. We’ve lost three games in a row people have a right to be annoyed.

Some mental posts in here

Yes we have lost 3 in a row, but they are 3 fixtures we almost always struggle in. We need to focus on the bigger picture.

So if we have struggled before, is it okay to always struggle? Hope for progression all gone?

Wilock, Bruno G, Tonali.

Tonali sitting.

People keep saying this re Tonali but he cant do it. If that's the answer already we got the Tonali talent ID totally wrong.

Folks couldn't handle last year's success man. They really thought we were Man City.

Well ... now receive your humbling and calm down.

Fair play to the away fans though. Still singing and getting behind the team.

Probably the one that got us fourth. Willock, longstaff and Bruno.

Gordon and tonali hasn't worked

That and Willock & Joelinton swapping between LW and CM every few minutes.

The whole Brighton operation is and we'll get there eventually too.

Brighton are no joke and are going no where. No matter how much people don't like to admit it.

Agreed but we're a good team as well.  Just haven't looked it today - we all know we can play better.  We have see it with this same set of players.

So what's our strongest mid 3 including a balance that actually works?

I'd be tempted to try Tonali and Bruno as a pair, then Isak, Gordon and Barnes behind Wilson from here to the Arsenal game.

No they didn't think we were Man City.

Attitudes like this are just as harmful as the "we'll never win another match".

We looked good in pre-season. Seem to have lost a lot of intensity on todays showing.

A definite style shift, presumably with the added fixtures in mind. We need a happy medium, this is straying too far from what brought us to the table.

Spending £60m on two fullbacks who can’t play instead of spending money on a creative RW seems fucking wild.

We are crying out for Maddison in the middle of the park - Isak would lap up his through balls.

Fair enough, but how far out of our depth have we looked in those games?

Today? We weren't out of our depth at City or last week. We also thumped another of that 7.

Aye, absolute horseshit. Most measured fans love Eddie but daring not to criticise when we didn’t lay a glove on Man City, choked the Liverpool game and folded here is ostrich behaviour. Hoping the international break gives pause to reflect and find a bit of structure which is missing.
