The best thing about all this is the whole team has to be reconsidered, formation, lineups and team selections. What we do in the market as far as signings going forward too. And these things will all be addressed.

I'm looking forward to it. Schar a d Burn are looking on their last legs as far as starting games goes now. And the midfield will have to be looked at.

Good job the windows just closed...

Not signing a centre back could be huge

We were never going to equal that, our lack of defeats last season was ridiculous. Our aim has got to be to turn some of last seasons draws into a win.

Stop conceding loads of goals would be a start.

Yeah, really bad day. We had a difficult opening fixture list and ultimately we've failed the test. It's disappointing but it needn't be a disaster and today's was the only really bad performance.

Just got to put this spell behind us and get our season going after the break.

Humiliating performance from the lot of them.

Nearly lost as many games as last season already ...it's not even the losses though but the manner of the loss today and the one against Liverpool.

Twice in a row Howe looked clueless and couldn't make any changes to improve us.

The was a relentlessly wank performance. Something isn't right tactically with us at all.

Also have a couple questions about thr transfer window now. Couple of issues in the squad have not been addressed whilst we've spent £70m on 2 fullbacks who have 1 appearance between them so far.

Losing is fine. The manner of the last two defeats, however, is worthy of criticism. We have been extremely ponderous on the ball, and have lacked intensity and aggression off it.

It's clear that there's a lot of work to be done in the international break.

There's going to be plenty more ups and downs as we transition into becoming the team we all want.

We will get there though IMO. Until then I'm just not going to freak out too much losing to Man City, Liverpool and Brighton.

Getting brought down to earth with a bump this season I fear.

Players like Almiron aren’t CL quality. Going to find that out very quickly.

Overall though the approach was shit. Brighton won handsomely and deserved to. Howe’s got a tonne of work to do over the next few weeks.

Utter pigshit that, got to be said. Never ever looked like threatening them whilst simultaneously looking shakey at the back. Sloppy, disinterested, lackadaisical, unprofessional and a piece of piss to play against. Credit to Brighton they looked sharp but we stood off them and couldn't get near them. No energy, no zip and look leggy as fuck after only 4 games. First time they've genuinely let Howe and the fans down, that was pathetic
