We haven't even played badly. Its fucking infuriating.

Yup, we've played reasonably well given who we're up against. Two nightmare deflections, can't make it up

Very true, sadly swapping teams isn't an option.

We won't hold it against you man.

Think a lot of people just can't handle a rebuild like we are embarking on. And no matter how much they complain there is no magic solution for going from relegation fodder to established in Europe in two years.

If it gets you lot so wound up, just get behind a team that is already there that wins most weekends and buys loads of players every window. No challenges, no hard times, nothing to overcome and support the club through. Nice, easy street.

Been pretty horrible defensively.

Yeah, they keep just walking through the middle of our defence. Not great

City obviously better,

chances nothing special from either side. City have had the luck, refs not been great.

Our problem, we seem to be playing with anxiety, concentrating too hard, resulting in things having the adverse effect.

Thought we were ok there tbh - Howe got his line-up and tactics right in terms of who is available.  Can’t comprehend what the fuck Botman is thinking, you put your neck muscles into that if you’re going to head it.  Not completely buried yet.

Ultimately incredibly routine for Man City.

We've not been that bad, we're just incredibly flawed these days.

It's not for the want of trying but we're so reliant on good fortune and hoping our very best players do something special.

We make our own luck as many have pointed out by not closing down Silva in those situations, but christ Man City has been lucky too with these deflections. Same rotten luck as with two of Chelseas goals last game.

Considering how we set out to play, with the available players we have, I think we've played quite well.

Isak knocking down Willock. It’s comical this

The ball to him from Willock was terrible ... and after the miscontrol Willock runs right into his space.

0.71xG (majority of that after 2-0 down) isn’t bad against Man City and we had one good chance and some promising attacks ourselves too. No idea how someone can criticise Howe for this.

Willock closes down Silva properly and Botman keeps his head away from the ball and it’s 0-0.

Yep as we have been all season. The amount of goals we concede from our left is ridiculous, not just tonight, all season long. The midfield has the issue of Bruno being the one who presses and the other two; I can't tell what their roles are.

I feel like we actually werent that bad? The game plan hasn't been horrendous, and I can't really remember them having a clear cut chances, with us arguably having the best chance of the game and they just scored two utter flukey goals (Fuck knows what Botman was doing for their second).

Man City have obviously been really good in possession, and "dominated" the game, but it's not like they've carved us open time and again.

Frustrating game.

With City getting pretty every decision and creating basically nothing clear cut, 2 stupidly lucky goal. I've also never seen City go long this many times from GK because we have 6 players pressing from every GK.

People saying we have been decent. Burying heads in sand stuff

City are great, aye, but we have been poor.

its two shit goals, but we are playing this into Citys hands several times. How often we lose the ball in easy positions is a big problem.
