Sometimes people do have a genuine reason of not being able to attend though i.e. in hospital and selling your ticket maybe the last thing on your mind.

Aye but on 5 separate occasions across a 9 month period?

And even then, if it was a genuine recurring medical condition for example, I’m sure if you contacted the club with the relevant information, they’d look on the situation sympathetically.

If they know - not exactly been highlighted

After reading the links provided to the cup scheme FAQs and cup scheme T&Cs by nufc.com they seem to contradict one another. FAQs say cup tickets automatically added to season tickets but section 3.4/ 3.5 in the T&Cs say you will be emailed a ticket and can request to transfer/re-sell. Clear as mud.

So all tickets are loaded on ST now or not?

Last season an email would be sent by the box office ahead of an upcoming cup match with a link to download a single ticket which appeared separately in my Google wallet.

Not sure if that is going to change this year.

I got this email response when I asked about the ability to transfer euro game tickets:

ST holders have been emailed out to on a vote about changing the way away tickets are sold. I say ‘changing’, but it’s a potential administrative change rather than a change to who might be able to access them (that will remain unchanged whichever option they go for).

Personally, I don’t think there’s any particular ‘moral dilemma’ in terms of what’s fairest here, so I’d just say vote for whatever suits your personal circumstances best.

Went for option three

Don’t massively understand that tbh. Does it positive or negatively impact my chances of away tickets when begging for a ticket for Everton, Forest, Brentford or a UCL away?

Makes no difference tbh.

Doesn’t affect who can get the tickets as such, just a change to the way you go about applying for them.

Wait wait but everybody on X is saying this will just funnel away tickets to the corporate types?

Well, I’m taking it at face value when I say it makes no difference.

Obviously some transparency on allocations and points sold out on is needed to prevent the assumption of tickets being “funnelled” elsewhere.

Could be problematic for people with different level of points, someone with kids etc.

Can definitely see a few (me included) being busy with work and forgetting to register

Surely it makes it easier for groups with different points as they can all apply at the same time, rather than having to constantly wait for the drops across numerous days?
