I keep getting this notification for my season ticket in my wallet but when I tap on it there's nothing there, that I can see at least. At the turnstile I always seem to have to "tap to show barcode" and scan using the lower reader. On Saturday the barcode looked different (larger) but despite a moments stress it scanned no problem.

same. it's annoying as fuck

I suspect it's android detecting a new pass has been generated and immediately displaying it.

Has been happening with iPhone too, although it doesn’t seem to be to the same extent as with Android.

Yeah iOS does that now, I was reading their API spec last week about it.  It'll be based on how often their services change the public keys.

Here’s a piss take I heard today, someone I know has held two season tickets for a number of years having had the second transferred into his name under Ashley, that ticket with in-excess of 200 LP’s has now been transferred into someone else’s name and the new person has retained the LP’s with it.

Bullshit to allow that to happen from the club IMO.

It’s nothing new. Been allowed since day one for decades.

What's the situation regarding transferring/re-selling home game tickets via the club? I've heard 10 such transactions may incur some sanctions. Is that the case and if so what action would they take? Work shifts so can't always make it.

Oh, and does the quoted 10 games include all competitions? e.g 6 league and 4 cup games?

There is a supposed limit of 10 transfers (don’t think selling back to club is included), but it’s not a hard and fast rule.

If you’ve missed a few and you’re concerned, I would email supporter services explaining your situation, the games you’ve missed, and any future ones you know you’re missing.

They basically just want to weed out touts, so I very much doubt they’ll have an issue with you.

Cheers. nufc.com have the 10 game limit as being a premier league limit. I'm alright on that score. Only missed the 1. It's cup games where I struggle a bit but I did sign up for them.

E-mailed the club for clarification and the 10 game limit that has been mentioned only applies to premier league games and isn't across all competitions. Apparently putting a ticket up for resale doesn't count. NUFC replied to say:

"This is correct, the forwarding limit only applies to the Premier League. Reselling your ticket is not included in this either.

I hope this clarifies any questions."

Thanks for clarifying mate,my partner give birth to our girl in September and I'm a 500 mile round trip to home games and have been for last 13 years since moving south so as you can imagine its a hard balance. It's a struggle this year, having 4 games in 9 days is really hard for a lot of fans.

If you transfer your season ticket back to the club for a home game does it count towards the number of times you have transferred the ticket and towards the maximum allowed ?

Mags, Mags+ and Junior Mags members can sign up to the Season Ticket waiting list free of charge from Monday 18th May to Sunday 31st May.

A step by step guide explaining how to apply for the Season Ticket waiting list will be sent to all supporters on 18 May. This will also confirm which priority band you are in. The same information will also be added to the extensive Season Ticket waiting list FAQs on our Help Centre here closer to the time to help guide supporters through the process. Should a current Season Ticket holder choose not to renew their Season Ticket, their seat will be made available to the next person on the waiting list.

Under 14’s will be required to sit with an adult. You can apply separately for an under 14’s ticket but they won’t be offered a ticket without an accompanying adult next to them. If you already have a season ticket and the under 14 you have applied for has been offered a season ticket, you will be required to move to ensure the under 14 isn’t unaccompanied.

Application Process

Step 1 – 18th May Check Your Eligibility - Eligible supporters will receive an email confirming their priority group and the designated window in which they can apply.

Step 2 – Monday 18th May till Sunday 31st May Apply Online - During your application window, log in to your account at https://book.newcastleunited.com and submit your application.

Step 3 - Monday 1st June till Sunday 7th June Ballot and Allocation - After the application window closes, all submissions will be entered into a ballot within their respective priority groups. Positions on the Season Ticket Waiting List will then be allocated based on the ballot outcome.

Step 4: Monday 8th June Supporters contacted – Supporters will be notified of their position within the waiting list. Any new applicants will be able to join the waiting list at this point.

Step 5: Wednesday 10th June New season tickets offered – Supporters who are now eligible to purchase season tickets will be offered the chance to buy them.

I've applied but I thought they would give an option to add people to your application. I've had to submit my sons separately, and they haven't even informed people of their priority group.

You can add more than one then assign it to the member as long as they are linked to your account
