TRon Posted Tuesday at 10:38 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:38 They are obviously regretting the decision to pay £20m, but I guess it's just about whether they are locked in or not. If we drew the contract up right, they won't be able to wiggle out of it.
buzza Posted Tuesday at 10:46 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:46 Based on if they qualify for european competition, but coupled to the way they are playing at the moment and the remaining games they have (not easy ones), so it is not a definite... Likelylad Posted Tuesday at 10:57 Share Posted Tuesday at 10:57 If we get rid at 20m. We've done so well because he looked consistently poor to average for us and is now not pulling up trees with Juventus. Not sure who sanctioned this signing because even on a free it looks like poor business. Well, until Juve took the bullet that is.

But is it not the case that the Italian press are claiming that but from ourside it’s done regardless? The Prophet
Lloyd #Kelly will be a permanent Juventus player! A minimum threshold of appearances in the season, easily achievable, has triggered the obligation to purchase. The economic figures: Kelly arrived in Juventus on loan until June 30, 2025 for an initial cost of 3 million euros, to which 0.8 million in additional costs are added. The cost for the definitive acquisition is set at 14.5 million euros, to be paid in three financial years, plus 2.7 million in additional costs. The contract also includes bonuses linked to sporting objectives up to a maximum of 6.5 million, which could increase the overall outlay well beyond 20 million. KaKa
They're basically paying £5 million a year for him over three years for the bulk of the fee. Pretty cheap deal for them really, but still decent money for us.

It says 3m + 0.8m additional fees for loan, 14.5m + 2.7m in additional fees for the purchase, and 6.5m add-ons. That is in total 27.5m euros. Obviously I'm not sure what they mean by additional fees, but exclude that it's 24m euros still. Edited 4 hours ago by healthyaddiction
