I haven't got any examples to back that up. The real issue is that if one of our CBs gets a long term injury and we've sold Kelly, we are back into crisis mode. Just too much short term thinking which got us into the PSR mess. Feels like now we’re thinking bit more long term, engineering moves out ready for some opportunistic June business. Plenty of time for him to improve, but he really only managed to fill a Dan Burn subs bench shaped hole (who in turn was filling a Botman shaped hole) since he's joined. It's hard to imagine him getting above that. I'd probably even have a fully fit Lascelles ahead of him so if he can move on for a tidy sum then so be it. I think there's a lot of value on being the right age bracket right now with the PSR restrictions, if we are going to sell we can definitely do it on our terms. Not sure if we have enough time to use the funds wisely.
