I would take that as him saying it’s done, don’t get stressed?

He already wrote that it's pretty much done though, so why does he feel the need to write that?
You may be right though. Funny, you'd think journalists should be able to communicate clearly

Here comes Hope: "Word from Edwards that the deal is done, followed by a vague message about not getting stressed. The club and Howe need to provide some clarity to this chaos."

Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign Aston Villa's Emiliano Martinez for £45m, though the 32-year-old Argentina goalkeeper is believed to prefer a move to Manchester United. (Mirror)

So maybe Chelsea will let us have Trafford but then again......

'Cause we are losing it on social media about a rejected bid.

Unfortunately, yes. Can’t stand it personally. They want there to be an uncertainty as it benefits them. Suits them as they usually don’t have a clue anyway

Have always trusted Scott Wilson the most.

Trafford is set to be Newcastle’s first signing of the summer after the club’s hierarchy held ‘productive’ talks with their counterparts at Burnley over a compromise fee for the goalkeeper.

Burnley rejected Newcastle’s offer of a total package worth around £27m last week as they were understood to be holding out for a higher up-front fee for Trafford.

Manchester City inserted a 20 per cent sell-on clause into the £15m deal that took Trafford to Turf Moor in the summer of 2023, hence Burnley’s determination to extract the maximum possible value from the 22-year-old this summer.

However, after a series of talks in the last 48 hours, an agreement is now believed to be close that would enable Newcastle to tie up the transfer.

Both are terms used by Geordies, just the Mackems decided to lay claim to one of them in the 90’s, alongside calling themselves Mackems, changing their logo to a design more similar to ours, and electing to adopt the nickname the Black Cats, and they have the audacity to call us 92’s.

Feel like Trafford has been coming here since the Jan 24 transfer window. Looks like he actually wants to sign. Wonder if he gets the chance to wind the Mackems up again,

I mean she's just some random girl, not a journalist.

“Influencer”.

The only thing she influences is a bunch of weirdo virgins in her comments.
