Paul Mitchell - Leaves Club (Hope); No He Hasn't (Edwards)

Recommended Posts

When Howe came out straight after qualifying with his comments about speed in the transfer market it didn't quite feel right to me.  The fact he felt he needed to put some message/pressure out there smelt.

We will be losing Bunce as well I imagine, and he was instrumental this season if reports are to be believed.

Why? By all accounts he has a really good working relationship with Howe.

Feels like this may have been in the works a while and delayed until the season was concluded, given the timing. First day back at work after the last game.

Doesn't that make it worse? Unless someone is already lined up of course.

Hopefully not but even if he goes we will have learned and adopted new methods that can continue.

Doesn’t see eye-to-eye with the manager and his mate who hired him is also leaving. We probably shouldn’t be too surprised.

Not sure that this necessarily follows - very much hope it wouldn't be the case

So he signed the sum of bugger all. Got lucky with Lloyd, and left us on the edge of a cliff at a critical point. His legacy is not looking good at the moment, and appears to have been an overall damp squib. Let’s see if the club have a solution at this critical stage.

I mean, from what we've seen/heard, it's not a real loss is it? :D Blokes hardly unearthed some gems or signed some key players (not even youth it seems either) - that coupled with some obvious disagreements, time to sling your hook.
