Ben
Was Mitchell the reason Guehi didn't sign last season ? If Howe was in charge would he have pushed this through ?

Sima
"That was purely Parish" is what Dobby says after he has just finished dusting Susannah Reid. Edited June 6 by Sima

El Prontonise
Yeah, sounds like guehi is after a huge pay day if he's running down his contract.

Mazzy
Palace not getting into Europa League might change his mind about staying another year though. I think it's unlikely they get banned but still possible.
JT24
Never not impressed that a thread got to (at least) page 365 for a player not employed by Newcastle United.

He's away and their back up Chilwell was only a loan so they'll definitely have a gap whether it's first choice or backup. Would make sense.

They let Zaha go for free. I think established PL clubs are sticking to close to their valuation of their top players. I don’t think they would accept anything under £35m and would be willing to let him go for free if they don’t get such an offer. Time was PL clubs would be desperate to get a fee - any fee - but I think that’s changed. And also players are happier to sit and wait to move for free and more clubs are happier to wait too. Rudiger. Alaba. Trent. Tielemans. Kamara. Christensen. Gomes etc. so many players are running down their contracts. Clubs don’t make good bids so they get kept. You still get clubs in Europe desperate for a fee. Any fee. But that’s not the case in the PL for established clubs. Desperate for a fee is like getting 50% off market value. I don’t think Parish is willing to do that.

That to me is pretty desperate.
