If we beat Wimbledon we get the chance to knock a very good team out at home and one of Tottenham/Man City and Brighton/Liverpool will be gone and we would be in a quarter final. Rather play Chelsea now at home than in a two legged semi or at Wembley

Totally agree. Great draw, great timing. And revenge for last season.

Anyone at home really. Anyone that isn't City, Arsenal, or Liverpool even better.

Here's a fun quirk -- we're at Stamford Bridge the weekend before the R4 ties. We play Arsenal at home the following weekend, so a tough week.

But here's what Chelsea's fixture list will looks like if we beat Wimbledon...

Over a 13 day span: Liverpool (a), Panathinaikos (a), Newcastle (h), Newcastle (a) and Man United (a).

In the USA they are called "Personal Seat Licenses" which, if you can actually believe it, is a very large fee you pay once to have the right to pay a very large fee every year for a season ticket. The PSL's can cost anywhere from 8k to 50k.

How can they even explain this with a straight face?

there are people in the platinum club who have debentures where they have the right to their seat for 99 years I think .

this was preceded by the bond scheme where for £500 you had the right to a seat (people bought thinking this meant “their” seat although that was challenged and overused in court).

The fixture list in general is out of control. It really is. I mean, fuck Chelsea obviously, but we can’t keep doing this to players.

Squad sizes need increasing. It’s the only realistic way

cup games against Chelsea still haunt me

96 FAC penalties

2000 FAC semi Poyet

Mid 00s LC QF (I think) Mourinho/Drogba

Last season LC penalties

Unfortunately they're the most annoying cup specialists and their squad is built for this

Great draw tbh. A home tie to knock out one of the tricky teams. We'll win that.

I'd rather have played a shit team personally. I'm not confident of winning it either, they are one of the cartel clubs who could put out two teams worth more than ours.

There was one at home where Bramble turned into Baresi and we won, snow showers if I remember correctly but other than that nowt but misery!

Get them this time though!

Aye - Sunday afternoon - FREEZING - en route to MAn Utd semi at Cardiff - think it was a Kluivert header?!

Beat them in the League Cup down there 4-3 as well - sure Shola got two and Ranger scored!

Anyone know how ticket sales have went?

Yeah, it’ll be sold out. Might be very slightly below capacity depending on what Wimbledon sell and what can be re-sold.
