Again we made chances and just weren't particularly clinical with them. And bear in mind it was away to a team who I think will be challenging the top 4 this season. Areas to improve for sure but we desperately need to strengthen in January. No way are Chelsea a top 4 side

Sempiternal
I genuinely think that summer crippled us and Howe. Stand still you go backwards.

Actually watching the games and we're improving overall, albeit today was a backwards step. Inability to finish and some stupid individual errors have cost us at least 4 points in the last 2 games. Holmesy
One of the most worrying performances I’ve seen from us under EH. We’re going to lose games throughout the season but losing them like that - players not showing for each other, no intensity, no composure, no creativity, constantly giving the ball away, no communication, that pathetic high defensive line and nothing remotely new - is starting to look like there are bigger problems than just form

Karjala
3rd game in a row we've not got what we should have got, 1 point instead of potentially 7. Isak, wow.

If he is, i don't think that system will work. And also noted, the collective disregard of Eddie's previous work is apparent. We have to trust him, aye we're going through a rough patch but i'm certain we'll come out of it. And today's game, i don't think we were too bad, defensively it needs addressing, but overall i thought we played OK, against a £2 billion pound cheat code team. Beren
People will get on Isak, but I wouldn't pass to Longstaff there either after seeing Longstaff's other contributions. Tend to agree with CF that it wasn't too bad an away performance. Something to cheer about for the goal, and some good play in places. Too many avoidable mistakes, which feels like a more permanent feature of this side now, having been this way for so long. Time waits for no man. Probably time to blow it up this summer. KaKa
We actually played alright in the end and could have easily drawn this and with a bit more luck even maybe cheekily got three points. I watch games like this and all I can think of is how much better we'd be with just anything half decent going down our right side to give us more of a balanced threat, so we can ask more questions of teams. Too bad. We just haven't been good enough with our recruitment.
kingxlnc
Joelinton was poor, Bruno has really regressed, no one is playing well at the moment
Tsunami
Trying to take a step away, we’ve over achieved so far and FFP has us tied up in knots. Our squad isn’t deep enough and we have players in our best 11 who really shouldn’t be there. It’s hard to accept but there we are.
pubteam
We need someone to play in the massive gap we have between midfield and defence. The amount of times our fullbacks run into dead ends and lose the ball is hugely frustrating, it's like we fear the middle of the pitch.

Scoot
Again, could have had a point if Isak had squared it or shot, or his header goes in but all in all another poor performance. Something needs to change as this is not getting any better by the looks of it.

Yorkie
We played alright cos Chelsea and the crowd got anxious. So fucking sick of limp dick performances at Stamford Bridge. They begged us to come at us and still we couldn't force the issue. Identical to the two games there last season. Incredibly frustrating.

Or the header James had to put over his own bar? I don't know. Don't fundamentally disagree with you that it feels very unpolished. Just trying to get what joy I can from it all In my heart I don't really believe in this regime being the one to breakthrough
