I guess we’re disagreeing on what we mean by that. I read it like you’re saying the players don’t know what they’re doing.

Oh so you mean the passive low block that lets opposition build and create attacks however they want is intentional and a sign of good coaching. Ok.  At least we agree that it’s naff.

How good was Krafu, my god

Best RB performance of the season so far I think. Him and Joe doubling up really shut Chelsea down cos Mudryk was the main problem. Bruno on to control it and that was it, job done.

Tactically spot on from the manager.

No, it’s a shit tactic, but our players are clearly following it [emoji38]

Quality result. That second half wasn't pretty on the eye, but it felt a lot like some of second half performances in the Champions League season, where the opposition had the majority of the ball and territory, but we where relatively comfortable in our shape, and just defended really well. That coupled with the press in the first half, and there are some really good signs from that.

I mean like last time I might be against the grain here but I wasn't overly convinced by that.

We did make some good chances but our actual goals were a) shit by Chelsea and b) fortunate (though we were due some luck).

Chelsea not scoring there is basically what has been happening to us recently. Wouldn't be surprised if their xG was higher than ours there. They were so wasteful in front of goal.

Happy with the win mind! And hopefully it's a nice confidence boost for us to kick on.

I know this isn't the Chelsea of old and I also know that it's not their strongest line up, however I feel some are in danger of not seeing how big a win this is.

Knocked a big club out of the cup. Another QF for Eddie. A win. A clean sheet. Another goal for Isak.
