There are so many positives and things to note coming from that:

  • An away win, and a dominating performance to boot.
  • We scored three goals against a team playing with a low block, something we have really struggled to do in the past, and it was a team who had the second best defense in the league and where really positive.
  • We scored a goal from Corner, don't blink, it really happened.
  • Isak is back into the groove, and looking back to his best.
  • Hall continuing his quality start to the season.
  • We're now within a point of 3rd.

ON. THE. UP. :indi::indi:

Isak is back into the groove, and looking back to his best. Madonna will be pleased.

Can't believe a team with a spine including Sels, Yates and Wood are third

They are very limited mind, despite having a strong threat on the break.

Thought they were in a bit of a false position tbh, but they are a dangerous side. They defend well and have a lot of threat on the counter. It's not like they've been lucky.

First half wasn't all that bad. Definitely the better team, maybe the better of two ordinary teams, and upped it in the second half and were not just distinctly the better team but good and more reminiscent of previous seasons

They're definitely very well coached

Pope - 7

Livramento - 7

Schär - 8

Burn - 9

Hall - 8

Longstaff - 7

Bruno - 8

Willock - 8

Joelinton - 9

Isak - 8

Gordon - 6

Tonali - 7

Barnes - 7

Would honestly argue that was the best all round performance of the season tbh, though I didn't see Man City and second half of Arsenal.

Definitely back to looking like our old selves. Press is back. Willock is back. Isak is scoring again.

Joelinton right wing gives us the option to put Gordon back in his favoured position. Happy days.

Longstaff very impressive once more.

The table is absolutely mental in that regard right now  I can't recall a season like this where there were 3 points separating 11th from 3rd, 11 games into a season.

Great result that, we were the much better team throughout and it never looked in doubt once we equalised.

I've also had a lot to say about how boring the PL is nowadays, today was definitely different, helped that it was us involved obviously but that was a cracking attacking game
