Newcastle United Vs. Bromley FC - 12/01/25 @ 15:00 - Live on BBC iPlayer

I’d rather not have a rewrite on Woodman’s time here.

That picture of him, Carver and Stone in the canteen still haunts me. Ashley stooge that he was.

How the fuck did Leeds vs Harrogate miss out?

There's a worry the match may descend into nothing more than chants of "Yorkshurrrr, Yorkshurrrr, Yorkshurrrr" for 90 minutes.

No PL team involved, no non league team involved, better side at home, so less chance of an upset. Leeds are obviously much higher profile than Millwall, but Dagenham's non league status would likely have secured that for them.

You'll not toooften get a 3rd round tie on TV without either a PL or non league side involved.

Millwall v Dagenham is a bit meh for television but guess they deserve it being a conference team reaching the 3rd round.

Tbf with the full PL fixture list the midweek after they were a bit limited in what they could select for the Monday night.

Shirley Us V Bromley & Chelsea V Morecambe are more interesting games than Villa V West Ham ffs.

Are they though?

Own team bias aside, I’d have absolutely no desire to watch Chelsea batter Morecambe. Possibly different if it was at Morecambe, but a routine victory to nil for Chelsea’s reserves isn’t high on my watch list.

At least Villa v West Ham should/could be competitive.

Villa-West Ham? What an utterly boring pick that is.

Proper "We can't get live Premier League games so we'll just get the nearest thing we can" mentality. Leeds/Harrogate is definitely more worthy.

Wonder if the Villa & West Ham match got picked cause both managers are at risk of getting sacked.

You'd imagine it'll be too embarrassing for whoever loses to continue in their job.

Losing manager has to do immediate pitch side interview at full time before the camera cuts to Alan Sugar in the studio

Is that true. Seems harsh on Emery

We know how hard it is to compete in Europe and the league...

Lopetegui might even be gone by this weekend, never mind January.

@Sima said it correctly. ITV can't show a Premier League game, so they'll show an all PL FA Cup tie no matter how boring as fuck it may be.

Leeds - Harrogate should have been on. Other ties picked themselves with the usual cartel but that Villa -West Ham tie is mind-bogling.

I don't see how that applies to Emery, he's done a great job at Villa.
