Wild rule isn’t it, would have counted if it was his hip and he was stood in the same position.

Shouldn’t it have been an OG anyway? Since Bruno handled it accidentally, but he wasn’t the goal scorer because deflected in off Digne.

Really enjoyed that. Was slightly anxious at 2 nil thinking they might get something when we'd had so many chances, but we were very professional and kept at it for the whole match.

Dubravka: 6.5

Trippier: 7.5

Schär: 7.5

Burn: 8

Hall: 7.5

Bruno: 8.5

Tonali: 8

Murphy: 7.5

Isak: 7.5

Gordon: 8

Was on target wasn't it? So wouldn't have been an own goal (admittedly didn't pay too much attention to it outside of seeing it hit Bruno's elbow)

Guilem Balague is a fucking prick, absolutely despised him when he said PSG deserved their pen because they were so dominant

Yeah. Was saying because of the xG. They deserved it. I remember the other journos on Euro Leagues, even the PSG supporting Frenchie pulling him up on it.

Closet Barca fan, Liverpool supporting bellend.

Thought it was going wide but only seen one replay.

Just watched it back on Sky Sports highlight on YouTube and seems like it would have hit the post and went in

Correct decision to disallow it, it's the stupid law that needs changing

I think that red card is a clear easy discussion. If you don't like Newcastle they you will convince yourself it was an accident. If you are an unbiased spectator then it's a red all day.

My spurs supporting brother in law came in and saw it and said red all day.

Yeah - regardless of it being accidental/hand position it's handball if it goes straight in off your arm, or you score after it hits your arm (eg Wilson vs Brentford away a couple of years ago).

Looked from the final replay that it was going wide and went in off the Villa defender though, in which case goal should have stood as an OG I believe. Haven't seen it again though to double check.

Fair rules might book Joelinton for a raised arm but would book Rogers for simulation. Joelinton did not touch his face.

When VAR is called to clear the potential red, they really should be able to book the simulation. Only way to stamp it out.

Double checked and Bruno's goal clearly comes off the defender. Looked like it was going wide, or at best on to the post without so I reckon should have been an own goal.

Didn't affect anything but probably was something VAR missed. I presume they assumed it went in off Bruno and didn't check for anything else.
