If you’re got a makeshift keeper and back line then facing Gordon, Isak and an inform Murphy is less than ideal but let’s see.

Yeah. It's been said there's a bit of post-Ashley PTSD in the midst, tbf, you could add 50 years bare to that, so that's understandable.

Also this seasons Premier has anyone, except Liverpool, beating anyone on any given day.

Everything seems to be falling into place for us today, tho, so I expect we'll get beat 😂😂😂

We do have a genuine problem with this as a fan base, myself included. PTSD isn't far off.

It might be in our favour to not score early here, every week they go behind and make a reach around for the come back. Make them nervous by waiting until second half to out stamina them to a 3-0 pumping.

Hoping for Bruno to run it post 50 minutes, Kulusevski injury after he prat falls admiring Isak being the better Swede and Ange to comb his hair forward and start shouting "MATE" at Pedro Porro over and over in Dingo despair.

Speaking to a few spurs fans at work this week - all decent lads with decent football knowledge - all of them think we’ve got the best midfield in the league.

Sometimes it’s hard to see what we’ve got, but we’ve got something special so let’s enjoy it.

Despite the scorelines we've been a bit wasteful with our chances. I think we'll win as long as we're not too wasteful.

I disagree slightly. I think we’ve taken most our chances. Yes we could’ve had 1-2 more each game but most importantly we’ve took the chances that mattered at the right times of each game. Only really the Tonali miss i thought would come back us and bite us which it should’ve if Man Utd took their two big chances that followed it end of first half.

We all see the game differently which is what makes it a great talking point but despite 30mins of dominance you couldn’t have argued  if HT it was 2-2. Mainoo’s introduction swung the game completely with them having the best of the last 15 and large parts of the second half.

We can’t hand Spurs forward line the chances we did against Man Utd. We’re we probably both agree is that Isak needs to sort out his clear 1v1’s as something has got into his head to try and be too clever especially over his time here beginning with his home debut against Bournemouth. Feels odd criticising such a great player for us but it’s the area on the training pitch and his mentality I’d be working on with him the most. Similar to Gordon. Wilson is still the best 1v1 finisher at the club so you can see why EH rates  so highly.

To be fair, our midfield strength is not hard to see like.

I don't like all this narrative around them being down to the bare bones with us being huge favourites , they still have a lot of good players and are at home so it's not going to be easy at all.

Going forward they score and create for fun. It will be a really hard game imo.

Our defence is makeshift too and their attack is their strength.

I’m taking absolutely nowt for granted.  It’s NUFC after all.  This goes back way before Ashley, btw…

Schar is a big miss but I wouldn’t say one starting CB missing is makeshift surely?

Yep. It’s about individual match ups. I love Trippier but Son has had his number in the away games. Solanke who missed the home game (?) has been a handful if nothing else when we’ve faced him against Bournemouth and scored a few times. Kula is in form and I’ll hold my hands up has played to levels this season i wasn’t sure he had in him. Maddison as much as I’m not a fan will cause us problems because all number 10’s seem to. Johnson is a flip of the coin but in fairness to him he’s come up facing the right way this season.

We win if Spurs shoot themselves defensively AND we turn up. Going to be a great watch regardless hopefully.
