What's our longest winning streak in all competitions?

All comps? I can see 8 in 94/95

But we won 11 in a row in the league at the start of 92/93.

Didn't realise our appalling record at Wembley goes back 9 consecutive losses over 5 decades. Jesus.

We had a similar hoo-doo at the old 'Crystal Palace' ground, during the early 1900's. Couldn't buy an FA Cup final win there. :thdn:

Top level I'd guess 8 in 94/95.

Wdit: what Sima said.

So beat Bromley on Sunday and that equals our longest ever winning run in all competitions?

Arteta is an absolute fucking clown.

Couldn't agree more.  If there was ever an ex professional footballer that I thought wouldn't adapt to management, it was always him and Rooney.  Both of the fuckers have jobs in management, how?

We did 8 from September to November in 95/96 as well. I'd guess that's our record in the PL era. Maybe there's a SBR era run but I doubt it.

Rooney doesn’t seem like he’ll ever learn that management isn’t right for him.  He’s like a dog repeatedly returning to its own sick

Feel like Rooney's one of those guys who was so talented from such a young age that he'll struggle to really understand and get the best out of people who aren't as gifted, which is almost everyone.

Wright saying Arsenal were "bare bones" tonight [emoji38]. Who were they missing Saka? So 1 first team player?

Also complaining about the little shove by Isak to make space which literally happens all the time. Not to mention every single set piece they have.

There is something weird about Arsenal fans. I never hear any of their former players like Keown, Wright etc ever give credit to the opponents. Always claiming some sort of mass conspiracy against them. Still going on about that VAR goal last season even though most of the rest of the world agreed it was a goal.

Teams lose sometimes, get over it, don't need to see absolutely everything with such rose tinted glasses. Used to like them under Wenger, but since Arteta came in, they quickly became very unlikeable. Their fans have been unlikeable for longer than that to be fair.

As I didn't watch the game I'm guessing having Botman and burn effectively shut down arsenal's corner threat?

They had a few big time chances, not all on corners  but Botman and Burn were solid all game. Very impressive.

Just to clarify, Botman and Burn both had great games.  However, the team as a whole didn't cope well with set pieces by Arsenal.  Strange I know as we kept a clean sheet.
