LiquidAK Posted Saturday at 13:54 Share Posted Saturday at 13:54 Happy with that team, very strong bench. Let's be avin em

That said, other than Joelinton, I agree with keeping the same side mostly, this team should be itching to put things right. I said last week this would be Howe's approach. All of those weaken us imo, none have shown anything this season to warrant a start. (Miley hardly played so don’t really count him in that)
GEFAFWISP Posted Saturday at 13:56 Share Posted Saturday at 13:56 Dubravka flapping and Armstrong winner, 2-1 Saints. Fab gets headbutted but no red card, this starts the big slide down the table and Saudis pull the trigger on Gerrard for Howe.

After all, the reason we were given for getting turned over last week was fatigue.
STM Posted Saturday at 13:58 Share Posted Saturday at 13:58 9 minutes ago, TRon said: Burn getting the nod over Botman then. Makes sense. Burn has been one of our best performers all season. I suspect Botman will be rotated when we have an extra game, which gives him a chance to impress. It's a matter of time before Botman comes back in but it might be right at the end of the season. Pablo Posted Saturday at 14:01 Share Posted Saturday at 14:01 I’m happy for Sven to be a rotation option. He’s done well since coming back, but after a serious injury, if we don’t have to force him to start every game, all the better

No chance Hall gets dropped in the form he's in to play Burn out of position. Same as how Tino is ahead of Trippier now.

I was concerned about this but last time out Eddie could have put Schar on for Hall at HT but didn't. Think he knows how good Hall's been thankfully. Botman is just going to have to be patient whilst Burn keeps putting player of the season performances in. Edited Saturday at 14:05 by Smal

Hall has been another one of our players of the season. Howe won't go back on Hall now. He might tactically rest him from time to time but Burn won't regularly start at left back now. Also, I think Targett is more likely than Burn. Edited Saturday at 14:06 by STM
johnny36 Posted Saturday at 14:08 Share Posted Saturday at 14:08 With McCarthy in goals id say we could get 4 or 5 Sulemana been out is good news too..he gave Yoro a tough games last week
black_n_white Posted Saturday at 14:08 Share Posted Saturday at 14:08 The fact Howe has seen Botman cover on the right side is probably a reason they’ve cooled the search for another center back for now. Happy to see Burn and Schar continue but Botman is the long term future on the left side.
